"See It For What Its Worth"

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of dropping Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus. I mean under the guise of friends and family these things are information gatherers for people trying sell you something. I seldom actually sign on to Facebook or twitter. Its mostly for posting my Blog. Its the same with Google Plus. Google Plus is responsible for ruining my cell phone by uploading a bunch of unwanted pictures that I can't delete. Sooner or later I will be phasing these three bad habits from my life. I am not one of those human clones that I always talk about. I am not just a number or something  to be counted. I'm going to keep my individualism and freedom of choice by not sharing anything about me. I've seen other people drop these things. They are just fine. As far as I'm concerned, Its none of anybody's business what I do when I do it or not. In the past because of these three advertising diseases I've had to change passwords because some freak of nature sent stuff to someone with my name on it...In the past I've seen other people stop the insanity. If you don't see me or hear from me. No, I didn't die! I'm just tired of people I don't know, knowing everything about me. Right now  I am working on step one. Admitting I have a problem with these things and doing something about it....

"TV Ban"

Television is still banned in my house except for NY Giant football. Just kidding, its really about choices and choosing and I choose not to be brainwashed. Its not banned and if I have company they can watch anything they want. We usually end up watching commercial free movies on the internet because I'm finding more and more people are sick of all the violence on TV. However I do miss certain things. Once you stop doing something habit forming you also miss the good things, if there are any good things about the habit. When I watched morning television the only good things were watching my favorite weather girl Stephanie Abrams on the Weather channel and as far as I am concerned the most famous traffic girl in this area Teresa LaBarbera from New Haven 8. My favorite news girl was Heather Hegedus but she moved from Channel 3 in Hartford to Boston. I felt bad about that. I looked forward to seeing these ladies. These three woman are not only gorgeous but they have brains and are good at what they do. What I don’t like is and you knew there would be a, “Don’t like“ didn’t you? The television stations and networks exploit their sexuality to attract viewers, mostly guys, who will ultimately watch commercials and spend money. I mean what normal guy doesn’t like to see an attractive woman. If you think about it, there isn’t really anything wrong with that. Well, along with the good guys that watch and there are a few, come the perverts and scumbags that make rude comments. Their insults and dirty words are usually made on Facebook or other social media where you can be a so-called follower or fan of these woman. I often wonder why these beautiful woman would subject themselves to this scrutiny and I feel embarrassed for them. I think the bottom-feeders that say these things had parents who brought them up in a sewer and taught them to roam the playgrounds and hallways in High Schools, if they made that far, as bullies. I wonder what Mom and Dad think when they read some of the things written about their daughters. Enough said. Its very discouraging to see how much our morality has degraded just to sell something and make money…

"Issues and Google Plus"

When I post my Blog on Google Plus I send it to other members that are in my circles. I also Tweet it and Facebook it... I really do not understanding exactly how all this works. The question here is...If you don't want me to do this, please tell me and I will try to stop the EMs sent to your mail...In the almost 30 thousand page views I've had three people ask me to stop...There was that one Troll who I deleted and banned and 2 regular people who asked me to stop. If you want me to stop and don't want to tell me just dump the post in your spam box and the problem will be solved although I can't imagine why you'd want to do that. Thank you...

"Twitter Account"

I have decided to delete my Twitter account. After considerable thought, it is with a heavy heart that I will click on the delete button. (not really with a "heavy heart" I just always wanted to write that) This morning I received a note from a good friend (actually a Twitter message) that someone put something "disgusting", her word via my Twitter Name, Tyler306. That is enough for me. I've had that name for a long time. Ever since Brad Pitts non-existent character in the movie "Fight Club". Remember Tyler Durden? I haven't looked at what this "freak of nature" put there or what it is. I'm just going to take her word for it. I actually "Hate" and I don't use that word lightly, any form of advertising or brain washing tool and I'm afraid that is what Twitter has turned into. What was, kind of a neat modern "Chat room" is now a place for sleazy perverts and morons trying to sell you something. I know its been that way for a long time but I just ignored it. I have met some really nice people there in the beginning and I will miss them. Especially the girl from Cape Cod and Sarah. Its like there is a Cancer there now and its tainted, and dirty and that is sad. Good Bye Twitter I have a feeling you went just a little too far and you are on your way out. Facebook is next.

 The U.S. cable networks won't be covering this one tonight (not accurately, anyway), but Trapwire is making the rounds on social media today—it reportedly became a Trending hashtag on Twitter earlier in the day.
Trapwire is the name of a program revealed in the latest Wikileaks bonanza—it is the mother of all leaks, by the way. Trapwire would make something like disclosure of UFO contact or imminent failure of a major U.S. bank fairly boring news by comparison.

Every few seconds, data picked up at surveillance points in major cities and landmarks across the United States are recorded digitally on the spot, then encrypted and instantaneously delivered to a fortified central database center at an undisclosed location to be aggregated with other intelligence. It’s part of a program called TrapWire and it's the brainchild of the Abraxas, a Northern Virginia company staffed with elite from America’s intelligence community.

Comment.....I have been saying this for a very long time. Someone is watching from the time you leave your house to when you get home...Someone knows what you watched on TV last night and where you go on the internet. They know how much money you have in the bank. They know what you buy in the store and what food you eat..You can't do anything anymore without someone making a statistic out of it..They really don't care about you...Its all about the numbers. They can take a picture from a satellite of the license plate on your car when you are going 100 mph on the highway. I checked Google earth a while ago and seen a still of me getting out of my car when I parked in the parking lot..They are watching from everywhere. Check Google earth to see if your house or apartment and car is in driveway or where you work...Its scary...And I didn't even mention the cell phone with the GPS you carry all the time...Its worst than having an electronic implant or bar code tattoo...That is next and they will convince you that its the thing to do..and what's worse is people will want it..This ain't science fiction baby this is the real thing...

"Facebook"

This note is to anyone asking me to play a “Game on Facebook“! Thank you for asking but I don’t play online games. In the past computer games were fun and I have almost 5 million of those worthless tokens on Pogo. Now, all these game sites are used to gather personal information on you to sell to someone or to sell you something. I will not be a part of this nonsense. I have a Nintendo DS and I will go to a Game Stop store to buy and trade games in if I need any…Its very inexpensive and much more fun. I prefer to keep a low profile and the less these greedy bastards and morons know about me the better it is…I don’t watch TV programs or news and haven’t in four months (a new record) and as a result I don’t see any of the ads or commercials… Lately the Network internet pages are coming with pop-ups and talking ads…I don’t go to those sites anymore! I delete all the cookies on my computer 5 times a week. I will only buy what I need and only if I need it. To show me a commercial or ad is a waste of your money and my time…. If I do happen to see an ad I will go out of my way to tell people NOT to but the product. In fact I will tell people its bad just create doubt so they won‘t buy it…If something I have is broken or doesn't work I will fix it rather than buy a new one…I could go on and on…I said all this before in past posts…Anyway, thank you for asking but no thank you I don't play games.

Taking a few notes"

On taxes and predictions…Osama Now Deader said “we will hit the Americans where it hurts the most. In their pocket book, in their economy”. Then they commenced to destroy the World Trade Center. A glimpse at what we have these days? Outrageous gas prices, higher taxes, no jobs, lay-offs and crime. Not just ordinary crime if there is such a thing but the most sickening and offensive things one human can do to another human. The worst cases of child neglect and abuse since the middle ages. The killing of innocent bystanders in convenience store robberies where the take is sometimes less that $100 dollars. Politicians quitting because of sexual deviations and corruption is at an all time high and getting worse as I write this…

On Casey Anthony…This twit never thought of the consequences of her behavior. Just did what she did not caring about anything except herself. Her family is ruined. She's been in jail in solitary confinement for 3 years and now more than likely will be convicted of killing her daughter, Caylee. That beautiful little girl...They are now reading and introducing into evidence her father's suicide note. He didn’t commit suicide but wanted too. I could tell you what is going on in this trial but its something you have to see for yourself. “Tell the truth, So help you God”, is a joke. Its truly unbelievable...

On Facebook……Actually I put this disclaimer on my Facebook profile page… A while ago I had home page problems with Facebook. One day I opened my page to find 3 strange large pictures that I did not put there. They were across the top of the page. I tried everything to delete and get rid of them but to no avail. Each day the odd pictures would change. I could not understand why they were there. I would never put anything as asinine there. They were boring and ridiculous. I wrote to Facebook at least 10 times to help me clear this up. They did nothing. I received no response. I changed the settings, I tried everything, nothing worked. The days went on. I waited for a response. My thought was, they just don’t care. Trust me, they don’t care unless an FBI agent or a Lawyer calls on them with a Lawsuit because some poor kid was raped or murdered because they put to much information on their Facebook profile page. I tried everything so I did what I needed to. I opened a new page and I changed my name to the longer version. If you read this and are confused by my full name please call me Lar or LJ……… I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

On the Pledge…I remember the day when they added the words “Under God” to the pledge.” My teacher, a Nun, (Sisters of Mercy) stood us up and asked us to face the flag. The Stars and stripes, 48 stars at the time was hanging on a pole on the door casing about 10 feet up. I was really little so it could have been less. We said the Pledge every day without fail before class started...Here is a something you didn’t know…. We held our little arms straight out and up at an angle like the Hitler salute. I remember when they changed it to hand over your heart. We were told to pledge the flag “Under God” because so many men and woman through the years have died for our country and he flag represents the country. If we allow them to change “Under God” The next thing you know they will want to change the words of the National Anthem....The flag lessen from the Nuns must have left an impression because I was only 6 at the time…
