It looks like Lindsey is one of those who think they can control their drinking and drug use. Some actually feel that they can cure themselves by not drinking or using drugs for short periods of time. Let me make one thing perfectly clear to all you naysayers. If you are a Drug addict or an Alcoholic. There is no CURE for Alcoholism or Drug addiction! Its how the word cure is used. To cure someone of something means that the disease will never reoccur. For example. There is no cure for Cancer. There is no cure for Diabetes. Well, there is no cure for Addiction! People like Chris Prentiss who claim to have a "Cure" are frauds. These criminals are liars of the lowest form and prey on the desperately sick and addicted who in a last resort will spend any amount of money to relieve themselves of the desire and compulsion to drink or use drugs. Alcoholism and Drug addiction is disease like no other. It is a deadly disease that tells you are not sick and that its OK to drink or use drugs again after you stop for a short period of time. The truth is, "Total abstinence" for the rest of your life is the only way to ease the craving and desire to drink or use drugs. There are a few programs that will help you. Alcoholics Anonymous being the most popular. Did you ever quit smoking only later to smoke one cigarette and find yourself smoking like before only more? If you have stopped drinking and using drugs only later to pick up a drink or use a drug the symptoms will be 100 times worse than they were before. Your chances are slim for recovery and only if you are very lucky you might recover after that first use... Usually people will start drinking because of peer pressure. After a while it becomes the thing to do to fit in and feel good about doing questionable things. That will be a false courage....The alcohol commercials are proving that. The goal for them is to get you hooked and make money. They are drug dealers! Alcohol is a drug just like Nicotine. They want to start you drinking. The younger the better. For woman, your inhibitions will disappear. A while ago before you started drinking you might have thought about what your parents taught you or what the consequences would be because of your behavior. When woman drink morals disappear and they lose that healthy caution and will do things they wouldn’t normally do. They will become prey. This will go on until someone suggests to try a joint or smoke some grass.
   Contrary to popular belief, to an addictive personally Marijuana is a stepping stone drug and will lead to the use of heavier drugs like prescription drugs, crack cocaine or heroin. At that point its only be a matter of time. You will think using drugs will be easier than drinking and it will make you feel high faster.. With woman its all about emotions, feelings and feeling good, so off you go. With a guy its all about being shy and lacking self-confidence. Alcohol and drugs will allow you do things that you see on TV and that usually leads to taking chances then pain or death.. For some, addiction is a slow process. If you just drink it could take years but when you add drugs to the mix it won’t take long. Some are lucky enough to hit bottom before they do too much damage to themselves, family and friends. For others it will take longer and the longer it takes the bigger the odds that the person will find jail or death. In any event if you drink and use drugs your life expectancy will be shortened...   If you have any doubts about drinking, listen because those doubts are your warning sign! Please don't start.

"Three Minutes of Weather"

 Written in 2008 as sort of a way to predict things. It wasn't my intention but it works. ...You should try this. 

I’m not going to complain about anything today. I should but I’m not. Mondays are going to be my day off from writing about things I can’t do anything about. However…I wonder if its possible NOT to watch TV in the morning…I’ve said it many times. Its all commercials now. Every half hour its 27 minutes of ads conning or begging you to buy something so they can steal your money, then 3 minutes of weather. It’s become a habit to turn things on when I get up in the morning but I notice that I turn on the computer first now. Could that be a sign of things to come? Someone on, I think it was CNN said, “Now that we have digital TV you can see scar lines from facial surgery“. Some producers don’t want people who have had these operations on TV, oops so much for progress. Looks like we are going to have a whole bunch of new people on the shows of the future. They will all be young and attractive and have no scar lines. I hope the cosmetic surgeons in Hollywood have a second job. I also notice that certain web pages have obnoxious commercials and advertising on them. What makes the greedy advertising crooks think that people would buy anything that is so aggravating and painful to watch is beyond me, It’s a waste of money? I always say that if its advertised on or sold on the internet don’t buy it. Its too dangerous and someone might get your credit card number. Don‘t trust anyone on the internet no matter how easy or honest it looks…Never click on anything you don't know about or trust. I guess that means everything. No one has any money anyway, What’s the difference? Is noticing the same as complaining? I’ve got to stop now before I scream………

…Its true, a “Carnival Barker“…

I was watching CNN this morning and I just happened see the unveiling of the reluctant birth certificate. We have so much money in the coffers of the Federal government that the President actually sent a plane to Hawaii to get it. No, he didn’t have it mailed like a normal human being…..I’m yelling here >> HE SENT A FREAKING GOVERNMENT PLANE FROM WASHINGTON TO HAWAII AND BACK TO GET IT!…… Back to CNN…At that point in time they had Mr. Trump on hand from New Hampshire to comment and comment he did. So much so that CNN actually kept him on for a half hour making our President wait. By this time it turned into a Trump press conference and when they finally cut away to the President you could tell The President was shaken and upset because he had to wait and watch and listen too what Mr. Trump was saying. He tried to control himself by smirking like Bush used to do and making a joke about it but you could tell by the way he was talking that he was angry…..He made it to the end of the birthing explanation but couldn't resist calling Mr. Trump a “Carnival Barker“…Its true, a “Carnival Barker“…The thing is, Mr. Trump was talking about all the things, yelling again here, Sorry >> THE PRESIDENT should be talking about and doesn’t…..Mr. Trump really hit a sore spot to make him say that…..He was really upset because CNN made him wait. Kudos to the director and the folks in the control room who kept Mr. Trump on the air and did NOT to cut away to the President. My hat is off to them….Keep up the good work…

"You Can’t Make This Stuff Up”

The weather here yesterday was chilly, damp, rainy and unpredictable just like our Government. Our Governor is going around the State trying to convince people that his budget plan is the right way to go. He wants to raise taxes and cut programs…On the Federal side, the U.S. government will shut down on March 4th. Stay tuned for that. That means all federal employees except The President the Senators and Congress will be furloughed. It looks like they will have to get their own coffee in the morning. The Obama administration will somehow pay 35 Billion tax, or newly printed dollars ($35,000,000,000.00) to Boeing Aircraft. To me that’s astounding. They are going to built new refueling tanker planes. They are like new 707’s. Neat huh…Can you imagine the debt he will leave when he’s gone? And oh yes he will be gone. That’s like you and your wife just got laid off and you are behind on your car and house payments but you go out and charge on your charge card a house full of new furniture. Yes, its good for the workers but bad for the taxpayers. Its insane isn’t it? ….Someone on CNN yesterday said that Osama Ben Laden and Al Qaeda is responsible for the all the craziness in the Middle East. I said that 2 weeks ago...Why is everyone afraid to say that? Its got his finger prints all over it. Its about time these people catch up with reality….While all this is going on. Pakistan has a CIA agent in prison. From what I understand he shot and killed 2 guys who were trying to rob him. Good for him on that. Our Government said to release him because he has diplomatic immunity. They won’t…How much aid would I stop sending to that country? All of it, that’s how much. Its time to send in Black ops and get him out of jail...Just like in Robert Redford’s Movie “Spy Game” I seen a sign for gas yesterday. $ 3.55.9 cents a gallon…..OMG I’m going out of my mind…
