"From Roosevelt to Now"

I have been around for a while now and fortunate enough to live in the United States of America.. I remember a few Presidents..From Roosevelt to what we have now.. As the years go on the Greed has gotten worst.. There were always homeless people.. Usually because of lack of an education and sickness people couldn't fend for themselves..  Me...  I was successful in the Military Police National Guard for 8 years. I had great job thanks to my Dad and on the job training as the airport Electrician at Bradley Int. airport for 20 years. I was a Career employee because of my training at that airport of the Federal Government at the Submarine Lower Base and the Hospital in Groton Connecticut for 3 years. That made me a Career Federal Employee. I stopped smoking cigarettes 20 years ago and for the past 10 years I have been a Vegetarian.  But by far the best achievement to date for sure is that I been Clean and Sober and without a drink of Alcohol or a substitute for 41 years and I have never been so grateful for anything in my life.. Each night I thank God for my life... That alone is a miracle..

"What are Stars Mommy?"

If this or any part of this is done, I believe the smiles you don’t see anymore would come back. There would be less crowded roads and highways. It would be less crowded everywhere. The air would be clean. Can you imagine looking up at night and seeing the stars again? Did you know there is so much pollution that your kids have never seen the stars at night the way it was in the 50s? Can you imagine drinking the water out of the faucet in a real glass instead of a plastic bottle? Can you imagine getting gas at your local gas station and seeing a High School kid named John instead of Abdul working the cash register? Can you remember when you heard the name Mohamed you thought of a Heavy Weight Champion instead of death or a bomb blast somewhere? Gas would be $49.9 cents a gallon the way its supposed to be. People would trust one another again. Families would stay together instead of being torn apart and ruined by alcohol, drug abuse and teen pregnancy. Honesty and morals would be a mainstay and the thing to do. Love would be what real love is supposed to be about and not just a passing desire for a few years or until you are tired of one another. Marriage would be when, “Through sickness and health” meant just that. The perfect family where Dad works and Mom watches the kids just might reappear. Maybe the kids would be outside playing in the yard instead going on the internet or playing video games. Just maybe a movie would be shown without a gun or death in it. Yes, and to all you people that will say this country was founded by certain principles, your right but most of those principles don’t exist anymore. You are right though, I would be the first to tell you the old words to the Constitution are there but Lawyers and corruption have changed and twisted the words to make them be whatever they want them to be. It seems we are so busy fixing all the world problems we are not watching what is happening in our own back yard. Our country is growing faster than our coping skills can handle it. Maybe it would take some tough decisions and limit setting to fix things but right now the United States is not United. Right now, it has no future. If you think it does, you have been blinded by all the lies and manipulation. If the United States continues on the path it is going, well you think about it. Project a little into the future…You will see what I mean and if you don’t, may God bless you. You are going to need it.

Yesterday my daughter e-mailed me again asking why I didn't do something useful with my time.

  
    “Like sitting around the pool and drinking wine is not a good thing”, I said. Talking about my "doing something useful" seems to be her favorite topic of conversation. She was "only thinking of me" she said, and suggested I go down to the Men's Shed and hang out with the guys. I did this and when I got home last night I decided to teach her a lesson about staying out of my business. I e-mailed her and told her that I had joined a parachute club.
  
    She replied, "Are you nuts? You are 75 years old, and now you're going to start jumping out of planes?"
  
    I told her that I even got a membership card and e-mailed a copy to her.
  
    She immediately telephoned me, "Good grief, where are your glasses? This is a membership to a Prostitute Club, not a Parachute Club.
  
    "Oh man, I'm in trouble again; I really don't know what to do... I signed up for five jumps a week." The line went quiet and her friend picked up the phone and said that my daughter had fainted.
  
    Life as a senior citizen is not getting any easier but sometimes it can be fun.

"The F Word"

Warning some expletives are being used in the following very short story.. (Do I still have to warn People if I say swear words? Or is Fuck a Swear word anymore?) Maybe I should say this is a R rated post if such a thing still exists..          

          During the, I'm gonna say last year or so but maybe some will disagree it could be longer... TV shows are saying the word Fuck and its really uncomfortable for me to hear. Now they are naming the TV show, the Fucking this or the Fucking that...Kids, young woman and even older woman say that word on TV shows like they have been doing that all their lives, like its a normal thing... Me? I never thought I would even be writing that word.. Years ago we first heard the word in the movies and it was rated "R" so we knew what to expect.. Along with the guns, blood, gore and mayhem. Now the TV show writers (I think they are Perverts) even have kids saying Fuck in what was once a normal sentence in a school hallway.... On the TV show, "Morning Show" even Reese Witherspoon says it in almost every sentence. Kids are saying on TV like its a normal thing to do.. I can understand if they warn you but its like its normal, an everyday thing... Like its part of the English Language and now it actually it is... Well, believe me here, its so inappropriate and soon I think soon the cashier in the Grocery store will be saying, Fucken thank you sir, don't forget to Fucken stop by again.. Next time try the Fucken Ice Tea, its really Fucken good, it will hit the Fucken spot on a Fucken hot day... Get my Fucken point?

"Smoking"

                        I went out with friends last night and someone mentioned they quit smoking…..I didn’t know people still did that…. I was wondering what that pukey smell was in doorways. It seems they were having a hard time breathing and climbing stairs at the same time. …. Then they said it cost about 12 dollars a pack. OMG, I didn’t know that?…. Don’t they come in cartons of 10...?  I stopped when it was .75 cents a pack..
                       Talking about smoking I remember my dad saying, “It’s a dirty habit“…. Although I think the word he used was filthy. He then went on to explain about the chemicals they spray on the leaves to kill the tobacco worms…. He used to explain how they did stuff. I’m so grateful for that…

"The Bloodlines"

      Its all a diversion.. All these stories are supposed to point everyone in the wrong direction.. Why? Is the question? The real reason, no one knows but think about it! Really think, why the cover up? The answer is in the Bloodlines.. A few years of behind the scenes talking and needing to do something without upsetting the world.. This was the only way, Diana's son had to leave..You have the "Pervert Andrew" that got caught with his pants down that has to be taken care of. However the "Bloodlines" in the Royal family are more important..  He fell in Love and married a beautiful woman whose Mom happens to be Black..  All this nice behavior now on the outside but can you only imagine what happened behind those castle walls? First it was pervert Andrew cohorting with prostitutes. I wonder how his wife is taking this?  Now a Baby (Archie) with Black blood.. Back in Henry VIII time, heads would be rolling....
