"2014?"

I realize that my posts have been short with a lot of useless information. Lately I haven’t been in the mood for much of anything… I’m tired of all the bad news and senseless political rhetorical chatter and excuses from the politicians and the wanna-be famous. Its like it’s a huge cycle and with the new year beginning its just starting all over again. Not one so-called leader in Washington is saying anything but the usual nonsense. No one is addressing the real issues. Rage, anger, welfare, illegal’s, immigration, crime, homelessness, drug addiction, drug smuggling, fraud in the system or the political corruption. No one is saying anything about the fact that there are too many people jammed into the cities and will talk about crime and over-population. No one will really say anything about conservation, the environment, joblessness, greed, education, bullying, gay issues or the prices of gas and food. No one will say one word about the cops now shooting unarmed people and getting away with it.. They all live in a bubble. They are all Lawyers. All they do is lie about each other. Not one of these morons knows anything about the real feelings of the people. They all went to private schools and were protected from the outside world. What do they know about emotional pain? These are the people that own the summer cottages and private beaches. These are the same Lawyers and Judges that let convicted murderers, if they have enough money, get a new trial. (((Michael Skakel))) They are all liars. I resent them all…Democrat and Republican.
Ask yourself, when was the last time anyone one of these freaks flew on a airliner with other passengers? Now they all fly with private jets. When was the last time they were searched by an x-ray machine and were embarrassed and had their things pawed through. They all have people that do their flying, driving and shopping. They all have nannies, chefs, servants and public relations people that repair damage or put a spin on a bad story…Now get this, its all paid for by your tax dollar and the Lawyer loopholes and the new rules they made. Not one of these fools really cares about you and me. They have no idea what really happens when you are out of money and your credit cards are maxed out a week before payday and they are going to shut your lights off before you can pay the bill… They don‘t know the hopeless feeling it is when you don‘t have a job because a foreigner took it and you have to borrow money from your parents to heat the house, eat and feed the kids.

See what I mean, I don’t have to tell you all this stuff. Its all the same and it will never change and to me its so boring because its been going on for years. The people of today are like clones and sheep being led around by the nose. I have been saying it for months…its only going to get worse and it is!… It will never get better and really change and if it does, the problems will still be there, only you will have to pay double for it… While you are doing that you might as well give them a raise and a new fleet of new bullet proof limos. They are going to need them in the future…..

Having said all that, welcome to 2014 and a very Happy New Year if that is at all possible.

"A Milestone"

Its been almost 3 years and I still don't watch TV…..I guess there is a science to giving up something…  Something addicting that is?… Until they banned cigarette commercials. They programmed you to smoke and it turned out to be addicting and millions of smokers died of lung cancer and related diseases. How long will it be before they ban beer commercials. Did you notice there are no Hard Liquor commercials? What about beer, it does the same thing?…Drink too much and they say, “You are having fun“. They want you to believe you are having fun and you think you are. Ask yourself If its so much fun how come you suffer the next day if you drink too much?  Now the Greedy Bastards sell beer on Sundays here in Connecticut. That way they can get you to do more crazy things for the 11 o’clock news and guess what? (((Spend more money)))…Well, as for me, I feel better each day by not watching television and those insane commercials. I think if I write about it gets easier. Anyway, in a sense I have not been watching for a long time. I was turning it on but muting the commercials but now, even when you mute everything there are hidden commercials. You can’t do that anymore. I have to shut it off. These days watching television is not good for your mental health and behavior…I know they have been using it to reach into your mind. Not only watching every move you make in the stores but using the plastic bar code cards to keep tract of what you buy…Now you feel compelled to spend money you don’t have by way of the television…All you Moms that plant your kids in front of the TV to give them something to do…The Bastards are programming your kids to do, God only knows what? In a sense you are allowing strangers to mess with your kids mind.  Here is a test to see if they are being brainwashed…Shut it off and tell them to go out and play…I don’t have to tell you what the result will be. Do I? Try it yourself. Don’t watch TV, go to the park. Take a bike ride. Put on some commercial free music on the stereo. If you can’t do this for even a day you have been programmed..

“Ignorance is Bliss"

These days that is so true…
What are parents not doing? Are they setting a good example? Do they set limits? At what age do you say enough is enough...Its still OK to say “Don’t watch that show“ Its still OK to say if your friend jumps of the bridge doesn‘t mean you have to! .. Most of the problems start when both parents work and the kids are left unattended. The supervision that young people desperately need is not there. This is how the trouble begins. Young people with very curious minds should be reminded that the TV show they watch is just what the name implies. “A Show” or an act and its not real. Its as simple as that. Tell them its fake and in between the commercials and ads that entice you buy something its designed to titillate your imagination. To provoke you into doing things that will hurt you. To make you spend money. Believe me that is true…Most shows today are designed to sell you something. A game or a product or a drug. TV today is only an advertising tool you involuntarily let into your house so they can make money. Think of it as something, “that sell things continuously“. The entertainment value is practically zero. A few years ago they had something called prime time TV...Now its mostly an exhibition of who can do the most asinine things…Real people are not like this but we are turning into a society that does crazy things to be famous. What they do is just an act for the camera. The shows or sitcoms that are still there are laced with body part jokes that are more for shock value and are not in the least bit funny. Did you notice the bullying epidemic got worst when a show called “Glee” started. The writers of that show wrote “Nip-tuck“. Doesn’t that tell you something? They turned the “Talent show” craze into a show that goes to the edge. One that pushes things to the limit. Yet, no one did anything about it.
Those writers are allowed to poison the minds of the kids who will believe the stuff they write..Its the same thing with so-called reality TV. Its not real.. Then there is the internet…Believe me here, parents cannot let young minds go on the internet without supervision… Never ever trust your son or daughter to do this alone. It’s like giving them a handgun and bullets then telling them to never to load the gun… Its mental suicide… The cell phone is something else that is addicting and hazardous to your mental health. Not to mention it costs a small fortune every month. People will do practically anything to pay the cell phone bill every month. We have turned into a society walking around looking at our palms addicted to a hand held computer. How many Politicians and celebrities were caught exposing their private parts via text message? Do your kids do that? Do your kids send sex messages? When was the last time you checked your son or daughters cell phone? Think about that… A young mind is very open to suggestions good or bad. A kid will usually try anything once. TV ads prey on families where both parents work. The advertisers know this and don’t care. Its like they are setting a bad example on purpose. Young minds are being shoved and pushed in the wrong direction everyday. Families are in chaos and being torn apart because of drug and alcohol addiction. Sickness and health mean nothing anymore…  My solution is simply not to watch TV. The more I talk to people about this phenomenon the more I hear of them doing the same thing. By not watching TV I feel a lot better and my mind is clear of negative thoughts and ideas.
Today we are in the middle of a drug, alcohol, and electronic epidemic. They don’t want you to know this…Take a pill to feel good and if you feel good then have a drink to celebrate feeling good. Have a drink to watch a sport or celebrate a win… They want you to think If you don’t drink you will feel alone and left out because everybody drinks and takes pills.…This is what they are programming young minds to do. Kids actually think this is what real people do. They don’t want you to be an individual they want you to the join the crowd and spend, spend, spend. That is what they are really saying. They don't care who lives or who dies...

“I’m Stuck in the Past”

The other day I wrote about the TV mini series “Great Expectations” and “Downton Abbey”. I also enjoy reading Jane Austin and Anita Shrive novels about the past. I also mentioned how I wished I was living back in that time period. When I left the house the other day I was thinking about that. As I was driving to the store and as I usually do, going the long way around. I noticed that when I go someplace, it could be anywhere. To the store or just to go out for the sake of going out. I always go by way of the back roads and through neighborhoods with shortcuts where the older homes are. They remind me of growing up and where I used to live. The roads I travel on, on my way to getting there are quiet and you very seldom see any other cars. Years ago there weren’t that many cars and I like it that way. I just came to realized that I’m living in the past…Sort of. Then during one of my walks on the beach where I meditate, I really thought about it and if were up to me things remain the same. Yes, I do have all the modern conveniences plus and my car is a 2005 Mustang…I bought it new. The point is it’s a Mustang and not a foreign car. I try not to buy anything foreign. I wear corduroy pants and leather boots in the winter, now get this, with suspenders and I dress nicely all the time. I ride a bicycle in the summer and I have been doing that for years. My diet is eat anything I want, only half as much. I noticed s while ago that I eat just like my Dad. In fact I eat the same kinds of foods he did. He was born in 1915. Then there is what I watch on TV or in the movies. I lean toward the older movies and of coarse movies about the seventeen and eighteen hundreds and I love the way the people lived then. Stories about Kings and Queens are my favorite…The way I see it, if I lived during that time period I would have been a gentleman and a man who enjoys helping people. I would have rode a horse to where ever I went. A Mustang perhaps? ….Now, I actually believe I am stuck in the 1950s or 60s. I refuse to accept progress and what it passes for these days, in any way shape or form. In my opinion we are going no where in this country much too fast for the sake of greed and we are taking no hostages. I absolutely refuse to be greedy nor will go after any money. Believe it or not money doesn't mean that much to me..I want to be free and feel safe where I am. I will not take any chances and move forward into this dog eat dog world  Why should I go forward into this complicated mess we call a country? I refuse and will do everything I can, not to pay high prices for anything. I do not watch advertising or commercials on TV. I won’t buy anything because the other person has it or because it’s the thing to do. If I want something I will do research to look for the right store and if the price is to high I will wait for a sale. I will not rush anywhere and I am never late for doing anything. I am courteous and kind. I respect the old and young alike. I smile and talk to anyone. I’m stuck in the 50s and I love it. I will not move...

Beach Today

I drive by Misquamicut beach everyday… Today it was cold but walkable with the right kind of coat…. I found a few nice pieces of sea glass..

The Green Thing

This EM was sent to me from a friend from England…
At the cash register of the store, the young cashier suggested to the older woman that she should bring her own shopping bags because plastic bags weren't good for the environment.

The woman apologized and explained, "We didn't have this green thing back in my earlier days."

The cashier responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations. You didn't have the green thing."

She was right, our generation didn't have the green thing in its day.
Back then, we returned milk bottles, soft drink bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were recycling. We refilled writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and we replaced the razor blades in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull.

But we didn't have the green thing back in our day.

We walked up stairs, because we didn't have an escalator in every shop and office building. We walked to the grocery store and didn't climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time we had to go two blocks.

But she was right. We didn't have the green thing in our day.

Back then, we washed the baby's nappies because we didn't have the throw-away kind. We dried clothes on a line, not in an energy gobbling machine burning up 220 volts -- wind and solar power really did dry our clothes back in our early days. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing.
But that young lady is right. We didn't have the green thing back in our day.

Back then, we had one TV, or radio, in the house -- not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief, not a screen the size of the Melbourne Cricket Ground. In the kitchen, we blended and stirred by hand because we didn't have electric machines to do everything for us. When we packaged a fragile item to send in the post, we used wrapped up old newspapers to cushion it, not Styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap. Back then, we didn't fire up an engine and burn petrol just to cut the lawn. We used a push mower that ran on human power. We exercised by working so we didn't need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity.

But she's right. We didn't have the green thing back then.

We drank water from a tap when we were thirsty instead of demanding a plastic bottle flown in from another country. We accepted that a lot of food was seasonal and didn't expect that to be trucked in or flown thousands of air miles. We actually cooked food that didn't come out of a packet, tin or plastic wrap and we could even wash our own vegetables and chop our own salad.

But we didn't have the green thing back then.

Back then, city people took the tram or a bus, and kids rode their bikes to school or walked instead of turning their mothers into a 24-hour taxi service. We had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And we didn't need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 2,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest pizza joint.

But isn't it sad the current generation laments how wasteful we old folks were just because we didn't have the green thing back then?

Please forward this on to another selfish old person who needs a lesson in conservation from a smart-ass young person.

Remember:
Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to piss us off.

Herman Cain Announces HUGE Fundraising Numbers

Herman Cain Announces HUGE Fundraising Numbers:

"Despite the sexual harassment allegations that have ensnared his campaign, businessman Herman Cain is posting massive fundraising numbers.
In the 41 days since October 1st, Cain has raised $9.4 million, his campaign announced. He raised just $4.7 million in the four months prior."

Comment...........Will this pervert have to return this money?

"My Definition of a Bastard"

Lately I've found myself using the word Bastard or Bastards...I don't swear when I post but at times I can't think of a more descriptive word to describe some of the people, if you can call them that, that I write about. I don't like name calling and was taught by my parents not to call people names and I don't...Years ago the definition of a Bastard was a child born out of wedlock and was called, when describing this event was, he or she is the Bastard son or daughter of so and so. Whether or not that was said out of malice was what tone of voice you used.
The bottom line here is that I have my own definition for the word Bastard. To me a Bastard is someone who would intentionally run over any confused defenseless creature on the road. A Bastard is any hunter that kills creatures in the forest or woods for sport. And lastly, we all are familiar with someone who betrays the public trust and would steal money from people who can't afford to eat or pay their bills. The politician who does this is obviously a Bastard that didn't have parents who taught him or her about honesty. They have also been described as scum, lowlife or a bottom feeder...I prefer Bastards...

They Are Setting a Precedent

I CAN'T HELP THIS! I AM SO ANGRY I COULD SCREAM... NBC, CBS, CNN, AND FOX ARE BOUGHT AND PAID FOR BY OBAMA AND BIG BUSINESS!!!!!!
THESE BASTARDS ARE NOT SAYING A WORD!!!!

Washington D.C.  Oct 4,2013 - I notice more and more every day that they are coming up with a lot of excuses about the black woman that crashed her car into the White House gate. They are saying she was ill or despondent but nothing is being said about her being unarmed. Are they overlooking this on purpose hoping it will go away? I notice they are talking about past shootings. Making more excuses. I hope you realize that what they are doing is setting a precedent. She was despondent like the thousands of others here, in what is left of this country. Think about it! This woman being black was probably elated when Obama was elected President. Imagine her disappointment and rage now and what she was going through. She was a unarmed black woman in a car with a baby and they shot her to death. They, in effect murdered her...Where is Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton? Why aren't they speaking now? Are their heads in the sand? And what is really special here is, her black President is not saying a word...Believe me here...If nothing is being done about her being killed the way she was, its open season on you. It gives them permission to kill you and make up a story later on. For example, if you don't stop when they tell you because just maybe you didn't see or didn't hear them, believe me some of these gunslingers will shoot and kill you. I think you get the point. The police officers or the Washington GSA security guards that shot and killed this woman should be made and example of. They should be arrested and fired. They should have their carry permits and guns taken away.
Yes, we are at war here in America but she was not the enemy.  In the past their motto was "Protect and serve". Now all the trust is gone! I do notice the change in their attitude when I talk to them. There is an underlying resentment, a dislike for someone they should be respecting. Its all over their faces and behavior. Exactly like the thugs from the Old Saybrook Connecticut police department who stopped me that fine day. The police of yesteryear are gone. They have been replaced with bullet proof vested, disrespectful thugs.

By allowing them to get away with murdering this woman you have given them permission to kill your Grandson because he didn't hear them say stop.

Its now 12/8/2013 - I notice more and more unarmed kids and people are being shot and killed and nothing is being said or done about it....

I'm Done"

Everything has to end and now its time for me to start a new phase in my life. I am shutting off this Google blog. I'm going back to basics.. The link to my new page is below. Its going to be about me and only me. Its about good news and the good things happening in my life. ... I can't go on writing about the sick things going on in this insane world and what is left of my country...  All the wars, death, corrupt politicians and lawyers. ...  I can't handle it ...  We don't live in a country anymore its a business comprised of selfishness and greed. ... The evil things are getting worse each day but something really bad is going to happen. I have never seen violence like this. ... I will not be a part of that. ... It will take some time but the removal process has already started. Very soon I will lock or this delete this blog forever.

"Google Apps"

On this Google warning about my movie review... I think Google has out grown themselves.. I really started really thinking when I got that movie review warning.. Actually it started a long time ago when they synched unwanted pictures to the gallery and ruined my Android cell phone. I'm pretty good with computers and repairing these kinds of phones. No matter what I did or how much I tried to remove them. I could not delete the pictures. I felt helpless and like they were in control of my phone. I mean its like they control everything... I had to return this $200 phone to T-Mobile to delete everything. Even they couldn't do it so they sent me a new phone. I tried to set up this new phone and still had to delete everything and start over twice so far.. Its like they own the phone and can do whatever they want.. I feel like I am being forced to use them. So far as of late the new phone is working but I have to be very careful not to allow anything from Google...
To make a long story short I am dumping all Google apps. I will still use one but its my choice when and how, not theirs...Warning...NEVER EVER download Google apps. To do one app means there are others are connected to it. Its like an infection, a virus. You can't get rid of it...
About this movie review .. I have asked Google for help for various issues and problems with my page in the past. I never heard anything from this so-called Google team yet the Google team was very good at threatening me.... Put one review about one of my favorite actors and I am told that, "You have been warned"...
Well, Google all you are is a meaningless over-sized search engine, you have been warned..
I am starting the process of changing everything and I mean everything...I started with the search page.. Its gone and I now use another search method..The mail is done. I now use Hotmail. New EM Address is ((( Tyler3061@hotmail.com )))   Google+ is next...

Back to this movie thing...Bobby you can call me anytime to say thank you.. Oh, and the same review with all the same information is on 2 other sites that I own...

"Another Way To Silence Us DMCA"

Google sent me the EM below the other day because I posted a movie review on 5/6/2013. Its sad because there was some interest with 39 page views... It was about the new Robert Redford movie called  "The Company you Keep". I watched it on a very popular movie site. Link... http://badassmovies4u.com/forumdisplay.php?108-2013-2012-Embedded-Movies-And-Download-Links

Apparently they have something called the DMCA. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Hey, dude it was a damn movie review? I even gave it good marks...  It was a link to the web site and picture of Redford and who ever played second man... Lighten up will you..

The link below is for the trailer...

"Deceptions"

 Published on Jun 22, 2013

"This is the full version of the "Deceptions" film (58 min). It was produced by an activist with NO film making experience for $750 and it was released in 2010. In spite of an amateur status "deceptions" was well reviewed and has developed rather a "cult" following.

Deceptions is a six part film that traces a string of deceptions from before 9/11, through the Bush and now the Obama years, oil and banking power and fraud, media collusion and the existence of a controlling elite.

It ends with a plea for the people of America to become citizen journalists - to report what they see and to encourage full discovery, disclosure and debate on myriad of issues that intentionally remain hidden from public view."

Comment....... From the attack on the world trade center to the dumbing down of America. Everything I have said and more in the past six years is on this movie confirming my suspicions and feelings about what is going on in this country. The control of the news. Cameras, web cams satellites and drones..... The greed, lies, wars, military, foreign aid, wall street, and the corruption are detailed here. From education to the TV and reality shows programing you, gas prices, the bank bail outs, the research has been done. I was right. I could see and feel the changes from the beginning...A very long time ago. Take one hour to watch this very informational film. This is not a country for the people. Its a business for the rich and the corrupt politicians. See what ex-senator Cris Dodd from Connecticut has done. He takes after has father only now does it legally because they changed the laws...... Lets face it. Things will always change but never this fast. The future does not look good for the young who are being transformed into the clones..They have nothing to compare what it was really like before it went out of control....

"Addiction"

Comment....A few years ago after I retired from the State of Connecticut and Federal Government  I worked in a Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation unit and as a result, today some of my best friends are clean and sober alcoholics and drug addicts. My good friend Jason explained it like this, when I asked him if there really was a cure for this disease?

Jason explained ...."You know you are addicted when you say to someone you can control your drinking and drug use. Some actually feel that they can cure themselves by not drinking or using drugs for short periods of time. Let me make this clear. If you are alcoholic, there is no cure. Alcoholism is a disease of progression. In other words, it is not a cure to stop drinking for short periods of time. When you drink again and you will, it will usually get worse not better. The desperately sick and addicted as a last resort will spend any amount of money to relieve themselves of the desire and compulsion to drink. Alcohol will control your life. Alcoholism is disease like no other. It is a disease that tells you are not sick and that its OK to drink or use drugs again after you quit for a short period of time. Believe me, its not. Total abstinence for the rest of your life one day at a time is the only way to stop the craving and desire to drink or use drugs.  Did you ever quit smoking only later to smoke one cigarette and find yourself smoking like before you quit only more. Smoking is another addiction that is very hard to stop....Well, it’s the same with drinking or using drugs. Usually young people start drinking because of peer pressure. After a while it becomes the thing to do to fit in and feel good about doing questionable things. The alcohol commercials are proving that. Take my word for it, their goal is to get you hooked. To start you drinking. The younger the better. For woman, your inhibitions will disappear because of drinking. In the past you thought about what your parents would think or what the consequences would be of your behavior. When woman drink they lose their dignity or that "Healthy caution" and will do things they wouldn’t normally do. They become prey for the perverts. Did you ever wake up in the morning and not remember what you did the night before? Wonder where the black and blue marks came from or where the car was? No, well wait! You will! This will go on until someone suggests to you to try Marijuana. I don't care what they say! Marijuana is a stepping stone drug and if you use it, it will, more than likely lead to the use of other addictive drugs like prescription drugs, crack cocaine or heroin. Its only be a matter of time. It will be easier than drinking and it will make you feel high faster.. With woman its all about emotions, feelings and feeling good, so off you go. With most guys its about being shy and lacking self-confidence. Alcohol and drugs will allow that "false courage" and you will do things that you see on TV or in the movies. You will take those chances that you normally wouldn't. That usually leads to pain or death.. For some, addiction is a slow process. If you just drink it could take years but when you add drugs to the mix it won’t take as long. Alcohol will bankrupt you physically, mentally and spiritually. Some are lucky enough to hit bottom before they do too much damage. For others it will take longer and the longer it takes the odds are that before they can get help that person will find jail or death"….

"Today's Reality"

Originally posted Friday March 9, 2012.  This is the updated version....

"When morals decline and good men do nothing, evil flourishes. A society unwilling to learn from past is doomed. We must never forget our history." J. Edgar Hoover

Remember a long time ago when we seen something bad happen to someone we would say, Hey, be careful it could happen to you. Well, the way things are going these days we say, its going to happen to you sooner or later even if you are careful. I say, try not to become collateral damage. I realize that human behavior has been questionable for thousand years and people have been wondering why people do what they do since the beginning of time. Things have escalated in the past few years here in America and its my opinion that most of what is going on in this country these days is because of suppressed anger, fear and rage. None of us is bullet proof to the craziness and insanity going on in the world today...We have come to the point here in the United States depending where you live that its too dangerous to venture outside. I realize it has always been somewhat like this, more or less but it seems like its much worse now. Ask yourself a few questions. Do you really know who your neighbors are? Do you trust them? Are you sure? Would you let them baby sit your 13 year old daughter or give them the key to your house to watch while you go on vacation? I'll bet you are thinking about that? Has your home ever been invaded or broken into. Watch out there country dwellers you are on the list now. You can spend a small fortune for that security system but you are not untouchable anymore. I have never heard of that happening till a few years ago. Even you out there in the country in your 5 Million dollar home. You are not safe. Try and buy a hand gun to protect yourself. They are even taking that away from you too.  Remember when you could leave in the morning and not lock your door? I do....
Has there ever been a suicide in your family? No, but I'll bet you know someone who has? Has divorce hit your family? Your kids or nieces and nephews? Do you smoke cigarettes? Could you stop if you wanted to?... Right, try it.. How about Alcoholism or Drug Addiction? Do you really know what your son or daughter would do to get the drink or drug he or she needs when craving it? Do you have an Alcoholic or Drug addict in your family? Did you know that alcoholism is an inherited disease?... Maybe it would it would be a good idea to read about addiction and learn. Have you been touched by those diseases yet...Notice I said yet...Have you felt the misery of a death by car accident on the highways these days or by the horrendous weather we are having? Has a family member or even a friend ever been raped or murdered? How about losing your job or your home? Have you ever had your car repossessed? Have you ever been watched so much you are starting to get paranoid? Your cell phone is really a hand held computer that will tell everyone everything. Are you or your kids addicted to your phone. Do you go back and get it if you forget it at home? Could you go a day without it? I did...Try that. Those cards the Supermarket uses. The ones you scan to buy something. Right, even they know what you are doing all the time. Ever wonder why you need a plastic card to buy almost anything? Even the banks know if and when you pay your bills.
How about your kids. Have they left the family nest to go out in the world only to come back to live with you again? Are they saving for their future and retirement? Hell, are you saving for your future and retirement? The way things are going now you won't be able to retire until you are 70. That's only if Social Security has any money left. Will you be healthy enough to work until you are 70?..... 27% of Americans have no savings for that rainy day....All those wonderful politicians you voted for that are spending millions to get elected or reelected are robbing you blind. Ask them about their retirement and health care. Don't believe me? Just wait, you will see!
Remember when you knew the cop on the beat by his first name? The police today are more Military than anything else. They all look alike with their shaved heads, bullet proof vests and combat fatigues. They carry automatic weapons like in a the army. Police departments of today now have hazmat teams and bomb squads. You haven't lived until you have been evacuated from a building because of a bomb threat or a mysterious white powder scare. Kids are being shot in schools everyday somewhere in this country. And no its not just the ghettos. It can happen to you...(((Oh, can I still say ghettos?))) Think about that? Have your children been in a locked down school because of a white powder, gun or bomb scare?  Its happening more and more. You are being scrutinized, searched, listened too and watched everywhere you go. From the highways and stores to Facebook and Google. Yes, you are...and there isn't a Blessed thing you or I can do about it.
You and your kids are being programed by "Nintendo" games or while you are watching those horrible reality shows on TV, which are not real by the way. What about the the TV and movie violence? It is the worst I have ever seen. Because of the movies and TV, promiscuity is normal and modesty is nonexistent? There is nothing left to the imagination. Remember, young minds without supervision are the future copycats and you know what means. They actually need someone to tell them difference between right and wrong...As the years, months and days go by in this computer world the odds of something I just described happening to you is rapidly increasing. So if you think you were careful before, brother you haven't seen anything yet....All because of money...The Bastards out there will do anything to steal or sell you something. Nothing else matters....They don't care about anything else....

"Firing Paula Deen is Unconstitutional!"

Official: Food Network will not renew Paula Deen's contract - CNN.com

New York (CNN) -- Celebrity chef Paula Deen's contract with the Food Network will not be renewed, the network said Friday, the latest fallout over revelations this week that she admitted to using a racial epithet in the past.

Comment....... (((Warning)))....When you read this comment be careful because it contains a few epithet's, whatever that is.... Forgive me here but being of the age (Paula is 66 and from the South) and of that time when it was normal to say things like that." ...  Have any of you been to Georgia or places down South? If you think what she said was bad you haven't heard anything!
Contrary to popular belief...Some of us still believe in, ~"Freedom of Speech."~ In my day and being of Italian extraction, I was called a Wop or a Guinea many times. Polish people were called Pollacks. The Irish were called Micks. The Jews were called Kikes. Germans were called Krauts and the Japanese were called Chinks. The Spanish were called Spicks and Blacks were called Niggers. If we were really nice we called them Colored...When I was in the military I was passing through Augusta Ga. I stopped in to Sears for one reason or another and seen two drinking fountains next to each other. The sign above them said one was for Whites and one was for Colored. It was the same for bathrooms. One for White people and the other bathroom next to it for the Colored... We were brought up to say those things and everybody said it. Even the American Indians were called Redskins. Its what they said in the movies! Now they are trying to change the name of a NFL team. They cannot stop us from thinking those words.... It will always be us and them...
If I ever said to the guys "Hey, its not nice to say those things, I would have been punched in the arm till it was black and blue and called more names that I'm sure any of you can think of. One of the most popular sayings, in my day was, "You call a spade a spade"!
Whatever happened to "Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me".
A lot of people said this and now its my turn...."I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight to the death to defend your right to say it."

However, its now 2013 and believe me when I say this, I promise you I will never change! ... This Political correctness and our government now is just another form of control. They are trying to control everything we say and do. No matter how hard they try to change the Constitution they cannot change or control my generation like they do to today's "Clone Generation"... Call me what you want! I know what I am and who I am... I will never change! Firing someone because of something they said is still, "Unconstitutional."
Although I don't condone what they said, it was in poor taste... I said the same thing when "Michael Richards, Jimmy the Greek" and Donald Imus lost their jobs...Paula, join the club....
                                   "ITS STILL "UNCONSTITUTIONAL!"

"U.S. To Launch Peace Talks With Taliban?"

U.S. to launch peace talks with Taliban - The Washington Post

"The Obama administration will start formal peace talks with the Taliban on Thursday in the Persian Gulf state of Qatar, the first direct political contact between them since early last year and the initial step in what the administration hopes will lead to a negotiated end to the protracted war in Afghanistan."

Comment and you knew there would be........

Is Obama going to Qatar to personally negotiate or will he send Hillery and Huma Abedin? You remember them don't you? How do they know if the Taliban negotiators aren't wearing bombs? Will they strip search them or make them walk through bomb detectors before letting them in the negotiation room? Will they do this in different rooms? Who will be ordered to do this? Will they send woman negotiators? If they do will they be wearing burkas? Check picture....Is it a volunteer job? I can hear it now. "OK guys and gals I need a few volunteers to sit in a room with a bunch of brutal murderers that might have bombs strapped to them.  And lastly. Will we give them money? I mean why not, we pay for everything now and I'll bet the bottom line here is about cash...

A Little Good News-Ann Murray (Original 1983 Video)

This morning after my morning meeting I stopped as I usually do in the Goodwill in Clinton Conn. to check out some CDs and I came across Ann Murray's recording of "A little good news today." Its a 1989 recording... One of my problems is I try to stay away from all the bad news on that TV and radio. I don't watch or listen to ether. By the way. Don't buy CDs or movies in any of the stores. At any Goodwill they are a $1.99. Track 6 on her album "Greatest Hits - Volume II, has this song... I cried on the way home listening to it.... The words are below...

I rolled out this mornin' the kids had the mornin' news show on Bryant Gumbel was talkin' 'bout the fighting in Lebanon. Some senator was squawkin' 'bout the bad economy It's gonna get worse you see, we need a change in policy.

There's a local paper rolled up in a rubber band. One more sad story's one more than I can stand. Just once how I'd like to see the headline say, "Not much to print today, can't find nothin' bad to say", because Nobody robbed a liquor store on the lower part of town Nobody OD'ed, nobody burned a single buildin' down Nobody fired a shot in anger, nobody had to die in vain. We sure could use a little good news today.

I'll come home this evenin', I'll bet that the news will be the same. Somebody takes a hostage, somebody steals a plane. How I wanna hear the anchor man talk about a county fair. And how we cleaned up the air, how everybody learned to care. Whoa, tell me nobody was assassinated in the whole Third World today And in the streets of Ireland, all the children had to do was play And everybody loves everybody in the good old USA. We sure could use a little good news today

Nobody robbed a liquor store on the lower part of town. Nobody OD'ed, nobody burned a single buildin' down. Nobody fired a shot in anger, nobody had to die in vain We sure could use a little good news today

"Fathers Day 2013"

As far back as I can remember my dad always wore a hat. He never wore it in a Church a restaurant or in the house like they do today but only to work and when he was outside. I remember him taking off his hat when he went into a building. I remember him tipping his hat to the ladies...He was a very respectful and courteous...  In the winter he wore a Navy pea-cap. It was around the time of World War two and I remember he said he was exempt from the Military. He told me, instead of the Military and because of our family, he called us "dependents" and at that time they only drafting single guys...So he worked in a place called the Springfield Armory in Massachusetts where they made guns for “World War Two“. He was a Machinist. ... My uncle, my moms brother, his name was Frank. During the war he was in the Navy building and repairing airbases on those islands in the Pacific. He was in what they called the “Navy Seabees“. He told me he "drove a bulldozer" and made landing strips for the war planes on those islands...I remember he gave my dad a Navy pea hat and a pea-coat for the winter. He gave me a clock that he said, "came out of a Navy plane that crashed". They called it a, pea coat and pea hat because of the material it was made of. I often wondered what the “P” meant…In the summer my dad wore a baseball hat. He was a great baseball player. He played third base on the town baseball team. The name of the team was the "Kettle Brook Team". It was named after a once popular fishing brook in our town. I think its a swamp now by the Congregational Church on Main St....The uniforms they wore were like the Yankee pin stripes but my dad was always a Red Sox fan. He got to see them win a World Series before he died. He was happy about that. My son Adam even put a Red Sox hat in his coffin. He really would have liked that.

I especially remember one summer afternoon many years ago when they were playing baseball at the local ballpark near St. Mary's school in Windsor Locks Connecticut. Dad told me that the famous "Babe Ruth" and the Yankee baseball team visited the park while they were on some kind of tour. I remember one time at a game when I was standing near the fence with my fingers holding the fence and he came over and told me to never hold the fence like that because a foul ball might hit my fingers. I will never forget that. To this day I will never lace my fingers in a Chain link fence.....He always took care of me...He use to say to Mom to "Keep an eye on me" or "Watch over me" all the time. I was watching a game one afternoon when the batter hit a line drive, a hot grounder, a one bouncer to him at third base and he caught the ball and threw it from deep in the hole to first base and got the runner out...Everybody in the grandstand cheered. I didn’t know how important that was at the time but he was very excited when he explained it to me. His nick name was “Pap the Rooster”. All the players had nick names. From that moment on my Dad had the nick name "Pap". No one ever called him Joe which was his real name. I have no idea what that means but I think, “Rooster” is a term for a baseball infielder. I was only a little kid and very young but I remember that. When he was older and done playing baseball he wore a golf hat. For years he played golf all summer long at the "Copper Hill Country Club" in East Granby with my uncles and his friends. In the winter he went bowling. First at Blanch's lanes on Grove St. then at the "Villa Rose" on Spring St. in Windsor Locks on Tuesday and Thursday nights. I went with him because my Mom worked and I remember helping the owner of the bowling alley set up the pins. They said were “short handed”. I was called "the pin boy" and they paid me 6 cents a string...The bowling pins were called “Duck-Pins“. I remember the hat he had at the time with a bowling pin logo on it…On Sundays he wore a fedora to church like the one Humphrey Bogart wore in the movies. I have a picture of me and my Dad all dressed up for Church and we both had a fedora on. It looked like I was 6 or 7 years old. .

Dad, I will always remember the things you taught me, the wonderful example you set and the priceless things you said to me. A day doesn't go by when I don't think of you and think, what would my Dad do in a situation this? It never fails, I always make good choices when I do that.. It was an honor and a pleasure to take care of you and "Watch over you" in your last days like you took care of me.. I really miss you Dad... Happy Fathers Day.... I love you.....

Comment....This is where your chicken nuggets come from.. They lock the employees in the slaughter house. Its where they brutally kill helpless chemical fed chickens. This is an example of what goes around comes around...  Enjoy those nuggets folks..

“Obama's New America II”

Update..... First published on 2/27/2013.

On and on it goes... America is not a country anymore its become a business... The wars and greed gets thicker in Obama's new America. It can't last forever...How long will it be before it implodes? Obama's Illinois sly sneaky grins and winks will fade away. The question is? Is it too late? Have you become one of Obama's new clones? No, not one of those plastic human like machines on the Si-Fi channel or in the movies, not scientifically made but the kind made from your new environment. From now on or at least for a little while there is no middle class! You are ether rich or you are poor. Now you suffer or you don’t. For the poor, rage and anger are the new attitudes. Death, Fear and Terrorism are the norm. For the rich, they just don’t care..There is no in-between. The majority of you have now been programed and coerced into buying anything they are selling because of instant gratification and because they say you need to have it. Your freedom of choice is literally gone. You are doing these things automatically now. Your corrupt Illinois President and all your corrupt leaders in Washington are bought and paid for by the oil company's greed and big business. You are all blind or have been blinded to what is going on around you. You see and hear only what they want you to see and hear when they want you to see it and hear it. Everywhere you go, what ever you do. Whether its watching TV, being at the airport, buying food at the store, talking on your cell or just driving down the street. They know what you are doing, where you are and when you are doing it. They are watching and listening to you all the time. You have now become a statistic. You are just a number, a bar code. If you are too young to spend money they don’t need you. If you are old, you have become a throw away that is too expensive to take care of. They are slowly taking away your food stamps (SNAP) and health benefit's so you will die. Your peace of mind and serenity have been manipulated into buying material things and for the most part your freedom of choice has been taken away. They continue to lie and say everything is OK and you really believe them... They want you to think that drugs and alcohol are to have a good time and not addictive. They don’t care because all they want is for you to do spend money. That is what its all about. You are officially living in a very sick society and have been for a while now....

The Ten Ways to tell if you are a Obama Clone. Be honest if that is possible anymore..

1. Do you walk around staring at your hand (Cell phone) for more than an hour a day?

2. Do you ever mute a TV show and watch commercials?

3. Could you NOT watch TV if you didn’t want to?

4. Do you let your kids play electronic games when the sun is out?

5. Do you play electronics games for more than 2 hours a day?

6. Are 2 of your 3 credit cards maxed out?

7. Do you buy things you don’t need when you can’t afford it?

8. Do you get up and watch Morning TV?

9. Do you charge things even if you have the cash to pay for it?

10. Do you think that Reality Shows are real?

If you answered no to these questions you have been programed to lie. If you have answered yes to two of these questions you are turning into a Obama Clone and you are being programed....Your life span will be been shortened...

"O.J Simpson Rerun"

First posted in 2009 and I think it deserves another look see...

Fifteen years in prison for O.J Simpson…Eligible for parole in nine years. Simpson, sixty years old and a college graduate by way of a football scholarship is still a liar and a thug and will go to prison for armed robbery. A suitable end for a suspected double murderer. A classic example of what goes around comes around. Sooner or later if you live long enough your past will catch up with you. You can run but you can’t hide. You can cover it up with smiles and jokes. It will find you. The lies will continuously surface and you will be put in the spot light and every one will know. Where ever you go, who ever you know, the lies and guilt will follow and at times will be overwhelming. After a while even to smile will hurt so much that you will have to pretend happiness. It’s the pain of worry and guilt. That nagging little voice in your head you try not to listen to but you have to because it will get louder. Remember, I said, “Our minds are our worst enemy“. That would be your conscience reminding you that it won’t forget until the day you die. Its often silent but like a time bomb it will remind you on an occasion when you least expect it. The people you hurt, you will see as reminders and they will be your constant anchors keeping you aware not letting you forget even if you could. Any happiness you feel is superficial and meaningless. Your elation won’t last. It will be just a fleeting moment before its deflated into that sick feeling of guilt and you begin to think and suffer all over again. Now its prison. Will it be institution green or gray? One or the other we knew it would be. That daily boring existence of sleeping behind bars. Being awakened at night in that constant dull roar that is always there and never seems to go away. Listening to the slamming cell doors and screaming nightmares of your mates. Then there is always the crying and howling of the others that pass the time in confinement with you. No private room for you O.J. a cell mate is in order for you, not of your choice but one of theirs. Will you be lucky or sad? Will you be happy sharing the same toilet with no privacy? That’s up to you to say. I won’t wish you well because I don’t know you, I just know of you and from what they say you are not a nice person. Will you have nightmares? Will you relive that night when you were looking through the window and seen what Nicole and Ron were doing in the house? Will you have “Those” nightmares? I don’t know? So the OJ. Simpson saga is over and after ten years of denial, that smirk and grin are gone replaced with fear and that,“ I can't believe this is happening to me” look. A promise was made and I certainly hope that you continue to look for the real killer while you are in prison. Whatever happens, as always, its up to you…

"Assault on Wall Street (2013)"

Review....."Jim is an average New Yorker living a peaceful life with a well paying job and a loving family. Suddenly, everything changes when the economy crashes causing Jim to lose everything. Filled with anger and rage, Jim snaps and goes to extreme lengths to seek revenge for the life taken from him.
Dominic Purcell(Prison Break) plays Jim, an armored car guard and loving husband to his wife Rosie, who happens to become seriously ill. This event starts a chain reaction of bad events in Jim's life, first his health insurance gets capped, days later he finds out his lifetime investments are now gone due to crooked business practices. Now, unable to pay for the proper medical treatment for Rosie he embarks on a desperate mission to find a solution, only to be left alone with nothing but revenge on his mind".

Comment......"Great movie"!!! ... Believe it or not there are people out there that wonder where the violence in this country is coming from. They say that we need to figure out how to stop it and will stumble around looking for answers. I have a feeling that sooner or later what happened in this movie will happen. Its just a matter of time...This movie shows how its done.. Believe me there is someone out there in this greedy country that will go over the edge and do it. The thing is there are so many warning signs no one is paying attention... They are too busy stealing your money while you are wondering where your next meal is coming from..

"My Life Update"

Update…..Its been 6 months and yes, I’m still a vegetarian and the good news is I’ve lost 6 pounds.. Believe it or not, I now have abs.. I’ve got a ways to go but I look good and feel great… My pants are sliding down and I have to keep pulling them up.. That’s a good thing and I love it..
Now with one eye surgery to go I can even see stuff… The first operation was an experience I’ll certainly never forget but I learned a lot.. I am not looking forward (no pun intended) to the next operation on the 14th of May but I will gather my lack of courage and ego put them aside and have it done, with Cathy being my strength and inspiration..
Cathy and I are (as they used to say in the 50s, and 60s) are going “hot and heavy. Well, not so much heavy but really hot. She is one beautiful lady. In our travels we have found some wonderful restaurants and beaches in Westerly R.I. and I can’t wait to move to that area.. The beaches at Watch Hill ( pictured below) and up the coast towards Misquamicut are incredible. Those of you who are familiar with that area will know what I mean.  I have been going to the beaches there all my life and can't believe I'm going to live there now.. Its like a dream come true..
I realize the dreaded tourist season is almost upon us but with the high cost of everything, gas included, at least the rift raft will stay in their city’s and the season doesn’t last that long anyway. ..
Well, now its off to do some shopping with the love of my life and that’s it for now… Stay tuned for more of my adventures in the future and as Red Skelton used to say “God Bless”........  I know I have been…

"True or False"

I don't know if this is true or by the time the story got to me it changed… A friend of mine has a friend who lives in Boston and she has a daughter that ran in the Boston Marathon. She was in the vicinity of the finish line and heard one or both of the explosions… No, she was not hurt but was terrified and went home right away to be consoled by her parents and to see what really happened…

Note…. As you know, the Police and Swat teams (Military, they all look alike now,) literally Locked down and closed the city of Boston.. They stopped everyone from coming in or leaving the city. No one and I mean no one could leave their house or where they were staying at the time.. Think about all that power and what would happen if they wanted to do something to you. (They can shut down a major city with millions of people!) Under the threat of a gun they kept you in your house as a prisoner.. All transportation was shut down. You could not drive your car.. If you were caught in the street they would question you and I don’t know what else. However, I know that if you didn't do as they said, they would find a reason to lock you up. You were guilty until they proved you weren’t!  What happened to me in Old Sayboook Connecticut last summer is an example. One of the questions they asked me was, among many other things was If I had any weapons in the car? ...Link below....

Back to the girl who was terrified by the explosions. Upon arriving home she did what any teenager would do.. She tried to text her friends and share what happened to her. When she tried she found out that she couldn’t text anybody or call anybody on her cell phone. Did the government shut down cell phone service? Did they shut down the internet in Boston? Can they do this? What the terrorists did in Boston was scary but, if true it gave them (Government) a chance to test their will on the honest people… What will happen next? (Gun control?) Stay tuned for chapter two.. I mean now its sounding like a movie on the Si-Fi channel.. I will go out on a limb here and say the terrorists are rolling around on their cave floors laughing. Believe it or not they are in control of us because what happened in Boston is what they want.

"Bike Stonington Wants its Own Path"

Comment by me.... Being an avid bike rider myself I thought I would publish this article I read the other day..It seems no one is thinking about making safer it for the kids who want to ride their bikes to school. Maybe some older folks would like to exercise during the summer by riding their bike downtown or from one town to another...At the speeds some people go on Stonington's narrow shoulderless roads these days a special roadway is only fair.. In Suffield, E. Granby and Simsbury Connecticut they have paved over the old railroad tracks and repaired the bridges over rivers to make bike trails..I've ridden most of these trials and the silence, peace and serenity is truly amazing...There are miles and miles of these paved trails starting in Massachusetts across the State all way to the shoreline.. Why not a few trials here..I know this would be asking too much but with a little foresight and planing it just might be possible to connect them all.

Note.... The bike trail In Greenfield Mass that has a repaired single track bridge (pictured above) that goes over the Connecticut river so don't tell me it cant be done...

The link below are the trails in Connecticut. Call me a dreamer but wouldn't it be nice if they were all connected..

The article below was written by Westerly R.I. Sun Staff Writer LESLIE ROVETTI
Published: April 3, 2013

STONINGTON Connecticut - "Bike Stonington, a small, grass-roots organization, is looking for a little pavement. Its goal is to improve access and safety for bicyclists in and around Stonington. The group is small, but it's pushing an idea that is catching on nationwide.
Jennifer Lacker, a Stonington resident and avid bicyclist, was at one time on the board of Mystic Community Bikes, which provides free bike rentals in downtown Mystic for visitors. At that time, she learned that the town of Groton had a bike plan, but Stonington did not. She spoke with some officials in Stonington Town Hall, but found little interest in starting one...."There just isn't anyone in Town Hall who bikes," she said.
Her next attempt was to start a municipal bicycle board, perhaps as a subcommittee of the Planning and Zoning Commission. That didn't work out either, but Lacker persevered, and with a handful of other devoted bicyclists, finally found some tread in forming a citizens group to promote biking.
Their work is kicking into high gear with the knowledge that the state plans to repave Route 27 in Mystic in October.
Route 27 can be bumper-to-bumper with tourists in the summer, and Lacker said that could be alleviated if more people were encouraged to use bicycles. She envisions bike racks at local hotels, where tourists could park their cars and travel to the Mystic attractions by bicycle. As it is now, Route 27 is not particularly bicycle-friendly, she said.
"We have bikes going on the sidewalk, because no one wants to
ride there (on the road)," said Lacker, adding that biking from downtown to the aquarium is "hairy and scary."
A bicycle lane on Route 27 could also connect with bike trails planned for the Coogan property, she said, and could benefit local businesses. When the road is painted after the repaving, car lanes could be reduced by a foot to allow room for bike lanes, she said.
The need for more bike paths was noted in the Mystic Mobility study conducted a few years ago by the late William Haase, who was the town's planning director.
The group is also looking ahead to the 49 roads that Stonington plans to pave over the next three years. They would like to see some safe areas for bicyclists there as well.
"It should be safe for our kids to bike to school," she said.
In the future, the group would like to develop maps of area bike trails, and provide education for drivers as well as bicyclists.
"Bicyclists need to obey the law as well," she said.
The group is soliciting new members, and will have a table set up at the Mystic Cycle Centre on Route 1 on Saturday, April 6. They also have a Facebook page under the name Bike Stonington.
The group will consult with a Planning and Zoning Commission subcommittee that is working on the town's Plan of Conservation and Development.
The subcommittee asked for their help after a survey indicated that residents were looking for more bicycling opportunities. When they're done with that, the goal is to design and implement a bike plan for Stonington.
"We've got to ask for what we want here," said Lacker".

"The Proof is Everywhere"

Each morning I get what they call a "Google Alert Email Alert"...What happens is I is pick the topic or name of a person and they send me all the information about that person or event in the form of an EM. This happens once a day or how ever how many times I want it..I also get Em's and updates from most of the local newspaper news or local channel headline news. I do this because I don't watch television news. Sometimes but very rarely I watch sports on TV.....After getting these alerts for a while I discovered its the same news every day...Its exactly the same, I couldn't believe it...Its always all about the most outrageous things people do to each other, their pets, wives, kids or mothers and fathers...The question is, do we really need to know these very disturbing things? I noticed the only thing different is the names and the towns and cities they come from. It never changes it just goes and on and on. Why are people acting out with this kind of behavior you may ask?

Yes, there are some sick people but the United States is not a happy place and it hasn't been for a long time. The trigger is things are changing faster than people can cope...Its the Trillions of dollars of National Debt but its mostly the hurtfully high gas prices. Do you really know how much a Trillion of anything is let alone a Billion? Paying $4.00 a gallon for something worth maybe .50 cents a gallon, if that. American Politicians will not say a word about that...Why?.. Because Washington with all its lawyer manipulation and legal corruption in the form of donations from oil company's and God only knows who else, that's why. Its because of greed and self interest and if they can't steal it they just legalize it and take it anyway. That's why. We are at a point where I don't have to prove anything saying what I say. Just look around you! The proof is everywhere.

Of coarse then there are the decaying morals and family values of the younger generation. Think about that son and daughter you may have or your little niece and nephew. There are young kids somewhere in your family. If you don't have any, think about your friends son and daughter. Who will they be having sex with in say, 2 years, 5 years or 10 years? Well, actually the question should be how many guys will she be having sex with? How many young girls will he be having sex with?...That TV in your house is programing them constantly. Its always saying everybody does it, why not you? Over and over It is saying to your kids you can't have real fun unless you drink alcohol and use drugs. Do you think it can't happen to your son and your daughter? Wanna bet? Take the time to check and see what they are doing on that laptop you bought for them for school...

And lastly, Government spending and Welfare are out of control  The Foreign aid alone is outrageous.. Bail outs? You have got to be kidding, The Banks and the Stock Market have very few rules. What rules they have if you can call them that, have been stretched to the limit. A Lawyer will just manipulate the words to fix the problem. No one will take responsibility. No one will make the tough decisions. What I just wrote here just scratches the surface. They just talk, talk, and more talk. Its all about those deals and with who..You just pay and pay. It cannot continue. Lines have to be drawn. It can't last. Something is going to happen. The United States government is in serious trouble. Something has to give...Do you remember when stories ended with, "And they lived happily ever after"? Well, ...... "That will never happen now...

"A Little of our History with North Korea"

Things don’t look so good now in North Korea. They have been a thorn in the side of the United States for a long time. So much so we have troops there on the 38th parallel. Someone said 60,000 strong. I could be wrong. Let me refresh your memory. We, the United States fought a conflict there in 1950 where 52,000 U.S. troops were killed and 670,000 were wounded. There was a big debate on whether to call it a war or a conflict. You be the judge. It was a political decision on what to call it because at the time when the Politician's, "did listen occasionally" to what the people wanted. The people of this country did not want war and didn’t want to go there. So at first our so-called leaders called it a conflict and said we were just going to help them a little. There was a lot of finger pointing and denial on why we were there in the first place. During this war/conflict, there were huge issues where the North Korean Army killed our prisoners of war. Prisoners of conflict? When and if they captured them they tied their wrists behind their backs with bailing wire and shot them in the head..There were black and white pictures showing this brutality. The so-called peace talks (negotiations) went on for months and ended when they made the 38th parallel. Not sure if we paid them money but we usually do. Years later, in 1968 the North Koreans captured a spy ship that was close to the North Korean coast. It was called the U.S.S. Pueblo. That incident almost put us on the brink of another war with them. They still have this ship and use it as a tourist attraction. I looked for it in North Korea on Google earth and found it. Its still there. The ship in the picture above is the Pueblo parked on the river. Commander Lloyd M. Bucher was in command at the time it was captured in North Korean waters. We negotiated for a long time to get the ships crew back. The Commander died in 1968. We don’t need a war with the North Koreans but I guess we have a commitment to protect South Korea. I don’t know the details. I started hearing rumblings from that corner of the world about a year ago, thinking we had better be careful. These folks talk Nuclear like they talk about rice. What's happening now could be the start of something really big and I don’t like what they are not saying. This administration better not screw this up. I’m sort of glad George isn’t in the White House because he would be looking for weapons of mass destruction and finding them this time…..    The picture above is the U.S.S. Pueblo tied on the shore of the Pyongyang river. It is the only U.S. ship that is being held captive.   The link below is the History..

"Long Tail Cat?"

The way societies are divided now. Its like we are living life in this order… The rich and poor…The rich, who seem like they are totally oblivious to your problems are being driven in their limos or driving themselves around in their new luxury cars and the poor who barely scrape along on with a junky car with no insurance, a menial job and welfare or no job at all. Its like there is no middle class. The rich who fly around in their corporate jets and the poor, if they lucky enough to get a loan have enough money to be almost stripped searched before they stuffed into an expensive over crowded passenger jet. In a sense there are no slaves but the rich who are catered to and waited on and the people who do it. No, they are not called “Slaves” but think about it?

Comment.......I don’t know what’s going on but in the past week I’ve heard someone say, “Life has an expiration date” three different times. Now, that’s weird. Is that a warning sign?

Quote........“Self righteous anger can be very enjoyable. In a perverse way we can actually take satisfaction from the fact many people annoy us, for it brings a comfortable feeling of superiority. Gossip barbed with anger, a polite form of murder by character assassination, has its satisfactions for us. We are not trying to help those we criticize. We are trying proclaim our righteousness.”……. William Wilson

Comment... My Mom was a wonderful cook and made the best meals year round but the most special to me was made on the holidays by my Grandmother. When I was very young, every Christmas the whole family would gather at her house on Grove St. in Windsor Locks Connecticut for her home made Raviolis. It was a feast with chicken and potatoes and all the Christmas trimmings… I think of my Mom all the time but going to my Grandmothers was the best…...I think about it every Christmas. Its one of my most treasured memories....Do people still do this?........

One of my favorite comments... "I feel like a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs"

"Cut Throat Society"

Save your money because the way it is these days with all this greed we are being conned, scammed and what I call “Over informationized” < (new word) It means bombarded with useless information from everywhere. Knowledge in the form of confusion that we will never use or even think about is now planted in our minds. We are being flooded with fast talking hypestirs < (another new word) from all over the world watching us with bar codes and computers to study for any possible way to trick us, convince us, sell to us or even to play to our sympathy’s for donations and money. They will even pay publicists to start rumors that will make us want to give or confuse us enough so they can take our money…Each day, you will be hum drummed into listening to the countless commercials on the radio in your car or TV (if you can still stand to watch it) trying to convince you buy something you don’t need. From cars to the expensive cell phones with the high monthly payments to computers, lottery tickets and clothes. Once they hook you on these things its too late. They are like those sleazy back alley drug dealers doing everything they can to make you come back and spend. Its been going on for years only now its worse than it ever was. Advertising agencies thrive on the millions of dollars you spend on things you really don‘t need or thought you wanted. They will literally do anything to make you think you want and need things. They will use every dirty trick in the book and some that aren't written yet to convince you to use technology, look prettier, feel better, be stronger, slimmer, healthier while telling you constantly its OK to be good to yourself. What they really want you to do is think they care but all they want is for you is to spend that last nickel and max out your all your credit cards. All they want is your last dollar for their bottom line…
Please, keep this in mind before you buy anything or spend any money. I had a good job and never had to worry. It was that way in the past and if you had a good job and if you did it well you could be reasonably sure that you would have it long enough to retire. Those days are gone and now there are no guarantees. I call it a "cut throat society" and I don’t care who you are, because of greed and selfishness you could lose your job tomorrow. Those charges you have on your credit cards will not go away. Interest will accumulate every day whether you have a job or not, you still have to pay for that. All the rules about bankruptcy have changed. Those mortgage payments, loans, health care, rent, car payments, federal and state taxes all still have to be paid…  No matter what the government says or how they word it, gas is still $4 dollars a gallon with the summer travel season just around the corner. If you can still afford it you mustn't forget that you will get that really high vacation bill. Miss one payment for anything and the constant phone calls, letters from creditors and lawyers will begin. They will take your car away. The police will come to evict you. You can't imagine how many kids had to move back to their parents house with the new baby... The only guarantee is, that you will have thoughts of suicide…. Save your money, don’t buy anything unless you absolutely need it. Never, never be afraid to say, "I can't afford it". A good rule of thumb is, if you don’t have the money to pay cash, don’t buy it…You will survive and today that’s about all anyone can expect...

“Your Memories are Missing”

Since the digital picture age started a few years ago did you ever notice that there are no real pictures anymore? Remember, what they used to call a photograph? I mean pictures that you keep for 50 years to hand down to your kids for the “memories“. Those memories were triggered by those little pieces of paper...Yes, I agree, digital graphics are clear and it is faster than film but the real pictures on paper are missing. Remember pictures? The kind you had developed and put on paper. You took pictures with your little Brownie or if you could afford it, the 35mm camera that you bought in a real camera store. My wife’s grandfather gave me my first 35 because his hands shook and the pictures came out blurry…His name was George…You then took that roll of film to the local drug store and waited sometimes with anticipation to have them developed to see how they “came out“. Then you knew that years later your kids could look in that box in the back of the closet to see what Mom and Dad did with you and your brothers and sisters or your wonderful relatives years ago. I’ll bet you didn’t know families did mostly every thing together. Beaches, picnics and they visited each others homes almost every weekend. Mom and Dad even visited Grandma and Granddad and took pictures of them. Sometimes they bought little frames and put those paper pictures in them just to remember how wonderful their parents were… I see pictures of my Father and remember what a wonderful person he was and how he patiently and delicately guided me around the pitfalls of this dangerous world. To this day I have a picture of my Dad hanging where I can see it every day… Well no more. I mean no pictures on paper that you can save to see, say 10, 20, or even 50 years from now. Your kids and their kids won’t know who their Grand parents were, never mind what they looked like.. They won’t know who you were or what you looked like. They won’t have those precious memories that you have…This world and its odd society have even taken away your memories and your past.. Its almost like you are only here for a few years and then discarded.. Its like you don’t count anymore. In a little while you won’t exist…

"My Economy"

A lot of what I wrote here is nonexistent in America today. Now in America its instant gratification and debt. That is the only way to go. More and more people are programed to spend anyway possible without thinking of the consequences. I had a wonderful patient father that taught me me the value of a dollar and how to save for a rainy day........ Read on.....

Today’s topic is about finances. The dictionary describes this as control of money, the business or art of managing the monetary resources of an organization, country or person. Wow, I could do something with that. I mean I could really be angry and show someone how save or spend but this is about my economy… Lately with me, its mostly using what I have been taught all my life. Lets start with credit. In these times of economic disaster and believe me, it is economic disaster. Its the worse I have ever seen...I never ever charge anything. I buy very few luxury’s if any. Because I saved in the past I’m fortunate enough to be able to buy what I want. I just don’t like to overpay for anything. I won’t give them an extra nickel if I don’t have to. I only buy things on sale with a coupon. Especially food but I never buy two to get one. The rule for me is if I want something and don’t have the money I’ll wait till I have the money to buy it, even if its inconvenient…I save (a word seldom used these days) money for things…I put a few dollars away for emergencies. Like a new Computer or TV, just in case I need one. I save for car maintenance. Oil changes every 3000 miles or if something breaks. My Mustang, paid for by the way, is a high maintenance car so its important to have it checked out at least once a year whether it needs it or not. Like to rotate the tires or front end work. You don’t want know what I paid for a break job for that car. At the speeds on the highways these days you had better do something. The insurance for that car is not cheap either so I have to save for that. I save just in case Willie gets sick. Vet bills are expensive. His medication alone cost $25 dollars a month. I can’t figure out how to get the Government to pay for that. Maybe if I write to the “Cat Bite Czar” he will help me…I always pay bills as soon as I get them, never waiting till their due. My rent is paid a few days before the first of the month, I don't remember when I have paid interest in any form …When I have moved in the past I always use the landlord or the building manager as a reference. You can do that if you pay your rent on time. I could travel anywhere in the world if I want but I don’t want to deal with all this terrorist nonsense. I'm an American and worked hard for my country. I worked for the State, the Federal Government and the Army National Guard. I have top secret clearance for the Subase in Groton Connecticut...My history will not be ignored. I don't deserved to be searched and if I ever walked through security at an airport they should salute me.....When I worked at Bradley International Airport I used to fly for free and everybody knew my name. I save my change for the laundry and never wash unless I have a full load. When I get gas for the Mustang I never put more than $20 dollars in the tank…I will not carry around all that gas. Its heavy. Leave it in the ground at the gas station, it will be there if I need it. I do a lot of things to economize and cut back. I just absolutely refuse to give them anything if I don’t have to. Most of this for me is common sense and the end result is I have money in my pocket at payday and I don't owe anybody anything...
