Again a message from one of my friends. I thought I’d just pass it along for those who care to read it…Like my friend, I paid for my Social Security every week for years and deserve every nickel the Government sends me each and every month… But I digress, I know, I know this will sound like me and the way I feel but its not……….I’m only the messenger this time…Read on….

“Entitlement my foot, I paid cash for my social security insurance!!!!
Just because they borrowed the money, doesn't make my benefits some kind of charity or handout!! Congressional benefits, aka. free health care , outrageous retirement packages , 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days, now that's welfare, and they have the nerve to call my retirement entitlements!
scroll down................
What the Hell's wrong?
Tuesday's Daily Bulletin paper, ran two articles on the front page side by side :
1- California 20 Billion Dollar Budget Deficit
2- The California Supreme Court ruling that ILLEGALS can attend college
and get benefits.
Why don't they just deport them when they arrive to register?
3- Last year they ran an article on the yearly costs to California Taxpayers from Illegals using Hospital Emergency Rooms for their general health care -
At just one hospital the cost to tax payers totaled over 25 million a year
Someone please tell me what the Hell's wrong with all the people that run this country!
We're "broke" & can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc.,?
In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti , Chile , and Turkey .

And now Pakistan.....home of bin Laden.. Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!
Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries!

They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives and now when its time for us to collect, the government is running out of money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place?
We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans..
AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment etc.
YET...................... They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.
Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries. Sad isn't it?”
99% of people won't have the guts to forward this.
I'm one of the 1% -- I Just Did….And of coarse I did too…

I had a computer problem yesterday, so I called Eric, the eleven year old next door, whose bedroom looks like Mission Control and asked him to come over.

Eric clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong?'He replied, 'It was an ID ten T error.'I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired,'An ID ten T error? What's that? In case I need to fix it again.'Eric grinned.... 'Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?'No,' I replied.'Write it down,' he said, 'and I think you'll figure it out.'
So I wrote down:

I used to like Eric , that little shit.

"Casey Anthony"

Lately I have been watching the Casey Anthony Murder Trial. Its like I got hooked on the antics of the prosecution  and the defense. No predictions here and some would disagree but it doesn’t look good for Miss Anthony…For those of you who don’t know what this is all about. Prosecutors allege that Casey Anthony, 25, killed her daughter Caylee in 2008 by rendering her unconscious with chloroform, putting duct tape over her nose and mouth so she would suffocate, or a combination of the two acts. They also allege that Anthony stored the body in the trunk of her car in plastic bags for days, before dumping it in the woods. This link is for live coverage from a TV station WESH in Orlando Fla. You can see the trial live and twitter or chat on face book from the page. Its works all day and to me its very interesting. Hey, try it for yourself.

The best news I got yesterday was that Rod Blagojevich was convicted of corruption. I can only hope and pray that it was something I wrote about in the past that helped convict him. Now they have go after Burris and anyone connected with Blagojevich’s time in office. The walking hair piece could get 300 years in prison. Comment from Rod…”I’m stunned”.

Wow, its Thursday…Late again, distracted by the Casey trial…Again, no comment on that..not yet anyways..…Today its breakfast with friends…Thank you all very much for your feedback. I glad my words could spark some excitement. I love all your opinions and comments. We can do that here in America. Say what we want, when we want. Thank you…
This picture is taken from a road near a little ocean inlet near where I ride my bike.. If I paid this beautiful bird he couldn’t have posed any better

"The Pledge"

Myself and many others were very upset because NBC left out “Under God” from the pledge so I sent this reminder to NBC communications about how the Pledge should be said and the right way to say it. Two hours later I got a response from Chris McCloskey Vice President of NBC Communications.

Reminder to NBC…..This is the way it goes….

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation UNDER GOD, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.", should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute."

Mr. McCloskey replied……..Thank you for writing regarding your concern over the beginning of our U.S. Open coverage on Sunday. We are aware of the distress this has caused many of our viewers and are taking the issue very seriously.
Unfortunately, when producing the piece - which was intended to
capitalize on the patriotism of having our national championship played
in our nation's capital - a decision was made by a small group of people
to edit portions of the Pledge of Allegiance.
This was a bad decision.
As soon as management became aware of this decision and the controversy
it justifiably created, it immediately took steps to correct it
resulting in an on-air apology provided by NBC Sports' lead golf
commentator Dan Hicks.
It was not the intent of NBC to upset anyone and we sincerely apologize
to anyone who was offended.
Thank you again for taking the time to voice your concerns.

"Book Store"

Had a great time yesterday, met with friends for breakfast and then later that afternoon I went and had lunch on the beach. I Have been doing that everyday and It seems its getting more crowded but that’s alright. It is Summer after all. Is it me or am I thinking that its more residents and not so many tourists. During the week I mostly go to places where the beaches are private.. So that must be the difference…On the weekends I go to a beach where there are always lots of people…Even in my town it seems there are less outsiders. I must be getting used to all the people or it cost too much to get here. I have been riding my bike everyday. My legs are much stronger. I can tell, I can do hills a lot easier and faster than when I started this year…Today, after the Casey Anthony trial, I’m really hooked on that but no comment. I’m off to do some food shopping then later for a long bike ride. I went to the book store the other day. I was actually pleased that it was still there. It still has paper books with pages to turn…It even smells like a book store...It was nice and I love the memories of an old fashion book store where you can still sit in an easy chair and browse a book or two…Quote from chapter 16 in Robert Redford’s new biography. Let me set this up. …While he was making the movie “All the President’s Men” He was in Washington and visited President Jerry Fords Oval Office. I guess for research and to see what it was like to have the worlds highest office. He thought, after having a conversation with Mr. Ford “You don’t have to be a Rhodes scholar to be President”. Now see what you miss by not visiting your local book store….On the news this morning. I can’t resist this… The Utube Jackass got killed last night. After making millions of dollars by tempting fate and hundreds of suicide attempts. I call them suicide attempts. What else would it be? It finally caught up with him when he ran his Porsche into a tree at a high rate of speed. He was drunker than a skunk.

"Under God"

To the incompetent NBC executive who made the decision to leave out UNDER GOD from the pledge.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation UNDER GOD, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

"I'm Back"

The new me is officially going to start today…Of coarse I’ve said this 743 times before. I mean it this time. Well, almost mean it…Can you almost mean it? I know about half measures and all that but I will try. There are a few things I’m not going to anymore. First writing about the weather. Unless its really like the Tornado or flood that I was in I’m not going to say anything. Except if its over 100 degrees, then I have to say something.  Politics, that’s a tough one because someone has to keep an eye on the crooks. Its easy these days because most of them are so you don’t have far to look. I will try to back off on that. Maybe I’ll save it for the Tweets. I’m not going to swear. I really haven’t done much of that but when I start it means I’m upset. I’ll back off on that no matter what. I had a good fathers day yesterday even though I am one of the unfortunate Dads that have 2 ungrateful sons. Actually, its odd when you don’t have a father. I found myself putting a picture of my Dad on my blog and writing about him. Scroll down, it’s a high school picture. He was a really nice guy and I’m so glad we, my brother and I had the opportunity to take care of him in his last days…If anyone has a problem with Dad issues take care of those issues soon because the pain of regret later will be intolerable. Remember when I wrote about, the I wish I could have done things but its too late now feeling..…My advice is have the presence of mind now to help your parents, you won’t regret it in the future. Meanwhile this morning I’m going to breakfast with friends and have a good time….Take care guys. Larry’s back…

"If Creatures Could Talk"

Last night a bear cub was killed on one the highways here in Connecticut. The driver did not stop. Last week a mountain lion was killed. If I remember correctly that person did stop. I often see numerous deer and various creatures lying dead on the side of the road. I always wonder where everyone is going in such a rush? Do you have to go so fast that you can’t stop or miss a confused creature that is in the street. What if it was a little kid? Then it dawned on me that you are all very important and that if you arrive late Billions of dollars will be lost or no one will be available to make a major life saving decision. Let me suggest something…In 100 years no one will remember anything about you or care about anything you did. To most of you no one will remember next week who you were or what you did. To all others whose lives are not so important slow down, leave earlier and enjoy the scenery. Take my word for it. You are not that important and if you are not there no will notice or care.

“ Integrity”

Reply to the comment about Weener’s wife working for Mrs. Clinton.
The conversation should have went something like this…A very excited Huma Abedin runs into the office and says…..“Hilary, Hilary guess what“? Hilary says, “What Huma” what happened. Huma says, “Tony proposed to me and I said yes“…Hilary replies, “Congratulations Huma, that’s wonderful but now you must resign“ Huma sighs, “But why Hilary why? “Huma, it’s a matter of the integrity of my office“ Hilary goes on by saying, “In the future we can‘t have anyone thinking anything negative on why you were hired”. Especially that Blogger guy Larry. He’s always looking for improprieties. The way American Politian’s are scrutinized these days with all the corruption and dishonesty, the people we work for will never understand. “We have to maintain the highest level of honesty and respect for the office, so the people will know we work for them and not for ourselves. It would be inappropriate for you to continue to work for me. I’m sorry Huma but that’s the way is“.
But as we all know that didn’t happen and Hilary’s public relations team has to work overtime hoping this doesn’t catch on, playing it down and keeping it out of the news…

Oops, I lost my temper and said a swear in the comment section of and for that I am truly sorry if I offended anyone. Actually it was a post from my Blog but rest assure it won’t happen again. However, I am glad you brought this to my attention because there have been further surprising events added to the Anthony Weener case. It seems that Ginger Lee, a stripper porn star has been the receipent of some of Weener’s foul text messages, tweets and pictures. She said she is willing to cooperate with an ethics investigation. Good for her. In the meantime Weener’s pregnant wife returned home from a trip from to Africa. Now, I’m not going to swear here but I really want too. Here is a case of, if you know somebody in the political world or if you owe somebody something in the political world, sort of like in the Rod Blagojevich case, we can take care of you by hireing your wife or husband. There should be an investagation on why his wife works for Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. Is this like Nepotism? I think it is. Its like, lets pay the whole family with tax dollars. I don’t think screw is a swear? Lets all get together and screw the little guy that has to pay four dollars a gallon for gas to go to a mediocre job. Lets screw the Seniors and the Social Security recipients by not giving them a COLA for 3 years or making them pay for health care benefits. If you hire my wife we can have paid for Lifetime health care, Lifetime pension. The Federal cash cow…I can see it now. The behind scenes deal. You deleted my post because I said a swear when I was mad and I don’t blame you. Are you blind? Can’t you seen what’s going on…Do you blame me for being mad? It just never ends. The more that comes out the worse it gets…

“The Blogosphere”

I’ve had some people say that I am “Intense”. I’ve even had someone say “Its because of people like you,” that and so on and so forth. Well, thank you I am honored to be called those things. Yes, I agree that times I can be very blunt and sometimes unintentionally hurtful but you must admit the truth does hurt sometimes. At times I exaggerate or stretch the truth but no matter how it comes out its still the truth. I comment on the, “what ifs“...Well, good or bad what if I and writers like me didn’t say what we say or write what we write? What if we all sat around with our heads in the sand doing nothing? Somehow I can’t imagine not doing or saying anything. Some of us Blog because we don’t want the bad guys to get away with anything. No, I don’t want to be a celebrity or famous. I’m not the best writer in the world and I don’t command the greatest use of punctuation and the English Language. I was a “C” English student in High School. I did take courses in English Composition in College where I was a “B” student. I have been known to use unusual words from the past and writing about the future. Some of my predictions actually have happened. I have been known to write about solutions, some very extreme but sooner or later will need to happen. They are only putting off the inevitable. Its like we writers put up a wall of words between us and them. We bring to light, the miss deeds of the “Want to be thieves” of the political world and the corrupt leaders from around the world. I report on what I think the real reasons are for things happening. We write because It keeps the perverts like that guy from New York who should be arrested by the way, that took pictures of himself to show young woman. We remind them that they should be setting an example of morality and will never get away with anything because we are always watching. I can honestly say that at long last I am proud member of the Blogosphere.

"Connecticut State Taxes"

Notice to the taxpayers of the State of Connecticut....The new taxes that they just passed in the State Senate are retroactive back to January 1st 2011. If you work in this State you should go to your pay coordinator or comptroller and have them deduct more state tax from your pay check. Otherwise you will be hit with more than you thought. I have found that the less surprises there are at a time like this the less painful  it is...

"Salty Language"

It was another hot day yesterday…All winter long I complained about the cold…Well, not complained just, well yes, complained and whined…No more! I’m not going to say anything about the weather..

Comment…..Example of Greed out of control...Delta Airlines charging our soldiers who are coming home from risking their lives in those Hellholes over there $200 for the extra duffel bag. The government said they (that means we) will pick up the tab. I wonder who the ass-wipe was that thought of that charge…It must have been some dope in a staff meeting somewhere?…Duh…

No comment on the Anthony case except that I feel really bad for that beautiful little kid….

Comment…Posting a picture of your body parts on an Internet Social page is a really stupid thing to do. There is no other way to say it.. This is an example of the kind of fool who makes decisions about the future of our country and what kind of money to spend on what and where. He is the laughing stock of the political world. Plus, he’s so ego driven that he won’t resign. Hell, I can’t imagine not resigning. How does he justify this behavior to his pregnant wife and unborn child. This guy has no pride or morals. He should be fired or impeached or what ever they do to these idiots…When I hear his name I can only think of a Weiner showing pictures of his Weener…World wide humiliation. Even the Taliban is laughing at him…Think about that! What is the attraction about that Congress job? Prestige, ego? Someone should ask his Mother and Father what they think about his behavior and if that is the way they brought him up? Hey, dumb ass. Who do you think you are?  Bill Clinton? It has to be self interest because he certainly doesn’t care about the people. On Dave the other night he was the “Butt” of all the jokes…Now, I heard there are new nude pictures! His colleagues should check how old the girls are that he sent his nude pictures to. They should also check his “Hard” drive for Porn…This guy is a pervert and he should be on some kind of pervert watch list. Like, “Warning”, don’t let this loser give any speeches in your school.

Comment…..The price of gas went up again and our wonderful President is still doing nothing about it. I don’t know too much about this story, I just caught the tail end of it on NPR but Yelling here>>>“Its not my job to know”. It seems there was a disagreement in the negotiations they are having about how much to rape the American people at the gas pump….I actually feel dirty when I buy gas. I hate giving those Bastards anything. I hate that this country allows them to hurt us like this.

Comment..….Doesn’t the television networks realize that there are too many commercials on in the morning. Morning Hell, all day….Boring and repetitive, geared to the weak minded, designed to have people max out their already maxed out credit cards and to take money from people who don’t have any money…Television is to the point of embarrassment themselves. Hey, greedy producers! Can you imagine how many people mute the TV? Personally, I mute the TV in the morning and I don’t watch TV at night. If you are so good with statistics you figure out why.

"Summer Heat"

I’m glad I live at the beach. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I feel like am home. There are no regrets…I heard all the heat is coming, so I am all prepared. Even the schools here are letting out early. That’s not a good sign. It’s the thunder storms later that I worry about….Did you ever hear and see a lighting and thunder storm over the ocean? Its scary and spectacular all at the same time.  I’ve been riding my bike every day now and my legs are getting stronger. I’m almost back in racing form. I have a 26 speed mountain bike that I put special tires on…I was surprised yesterday when I had it up to 32 mph on a straight smooth road. My usual speed is about 10-15 mph. I don’t ask for much these days…Just a little breeze off the ocean..  Thank you very much…I have been watching the Casey Anthony trial on the internet. There are hundreds of pictures of little Caylee. Its one of the saddest things I have ever seen…

"Tornado October 3,1979"

I went to work as an apprentice airport electrician at Bradley International Airport on the morning of Oct. 3,1979. It was just a normal day like all days. The birds were singing and a fall chill was in the air. I drove my newly purchased used $500 1971 Ford pickup truck to the airport and parked it along side my friends new Ford van and went to get my work truck out of building # 228. In those days all the airport buildings had numbers. They were old military buildings left over from World war II that were given to the State of Connecticut and each had a designation or a number. I parked the work truck in that building at night when we were done work…As I was unlocking the door the third vehicle arrived. It was one of the airport painters just getting to work. I backed the truck out of the building and got out and locked the door. Said good morning to the painter who was suffering from his usual hangover and I left. I drove by the new fire house and onto the eastside taxiway to cross the approach of runway 33. I picked up the microphone and called the Bradley control tower. “Bradley ground this is this is State 5 on the east side, at the approach of runway 33”. The tower replied “State 5 Bradley ground“. I replied, “holding short of runway 33, clearance to cross“. Hold short State 5 landing traffic to your left…I waited and watched as a Mohawk Airlines BAC 111 passed and landed, tires chirping and smoking as they hit the runway. As the plane passed by, the tower said, “State 5 clear to cross runway 33“…I replied, “5 roger, clear to cross“ and I headed to the Electrical shop on the ground floor of the terminal building…Little did anyone know this would be one of the worst days in the history of Bradley International Airport.
I was in that Electrical shop that afternoon. I think it was around 2PM, when the sky turned a dark gray. It had an odd pinkish red tint and the wind was from the east, it was unusually strong. The airport Windsock was straight out. That was not a good sign. Someone in the shop was yelling something and air pressure in that large room dropped to the point where the air was being vacuumed out at the ramp level doors. The doors slammed to the open position as papers and small tools were being sucked out to the aircraft ramp. Without thinking I ran to the open doors, I could feel the wind and pressure at my back as I grasped both handles and struggled to close them. I managed to get both doors closed enough to slam the bolt closed and lock them. As I did this I watched through the door windows as the roof of the cantilever hanger started to swirl off in a counter clock wise flight into the air…I glanced to my left and watched as an American Airlines Boeing 707 tried to land on runway 24, only to touch down, tires smoking and then throttle forward and nose up with a deafening roar to take off again while making an immediate right turn away, wings bent from the strain of the turn heading away from the storm as fast as the airliner would Go. It was then I heard the wind roaring and the train sound that everyone talks about. After that I don’t remember much except my assignment was to keep the airport emergency generators running as long as I could. I told my supervisor later that night that if I didn’t shut them off one of them was going to burn out because of the amps it was putting out and load it was carrying. If I remember correctly he said “ Keep them running I don’t care if they burn up” He did some swearing but I won’t say what he said…I did manage to keep them running and one generator did burn out as I predicted it would in the early morning hours, coming to a grinding halt.…I shut off the other generator and the airport runways and terminal went dark.
Earlier in the evening I did manage to call home and was relieved to find out that our house was in tact and everyone was safe. In the weeks to come everything is a blur but I remember the destruction and devastation were like nothing I have ever seen. I describe it as like the airport was bombed during a war. There were pieces of aircraft everywhere. The smell of aviation fuel was unbearable. I was astonished at the nails and debris that was everywhere and pieces of homes and buildings that were in what was left of the twisted Oak and Maple trees. I don’t recall when I went to check on my truck but when I got there it was intact but that new van that I parked next to was totally destroyed. The chimney from the building fell on the rear of the van and crushed it. My truck had a broken windshield and two flat tires. The painters car was dented and sandblasted like my truck but otherwise was OK.  These pictures. Taken with what I believe is a 35 MM camera. One of the Cantilever hanger with the roof gone and the tail of a B-52 bomber sticking out of the back and my truck, I have never seen before till the other day. I was happily surprised and if you look closely there is my truck parked over by that pile of sand. It’s the one in the middle. That pile of wood and junk is what is left of building 228.…There were times when I parked my truck in the building. I glad I didn’t do it that day…I have never been in a situation like that since and I never want to be

"The Twenty Sixth Amendment"

A friend of mine sent this to me and I thought it was interesting and because it isn’t just me that has been saying it for a very long time…

*The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified!  Why?  Simple!  The people demanded it.  That was in 1971...before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones.
Of  the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven
(7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the  land...all because of public pressure.
*I'm asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list;  in turn ask each of those to do likewise.
In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message.  This is one idea that really should be passed around.
Congressional Reform Act of  2011
1.  No Tenure / No Pension. A  Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.
2..  Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All  future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people.  It may not be used for any other purpose.
*3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
*4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.  Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
*5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
*6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
*7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12. ****The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen.  Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.  Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career.  The  Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

“Drug Test No Exceptions”

Good for the State of Florida for passing the Welfare drug test law…I hope it’s a supervised test by the State Police or DEA agents. I also think there should be a Federal law for the Pell school grants, that’s out of control also, or borrowing any federal money for basically anything. Personally I think it should be mandatory for you to be a U.S. citizen and have a drug test before getting food stamps or any state program…Too many tax dollars are going up someone’s nose or for cigarettes. Hey, what can I say. Illegal Prescription drugs, Alcohol and now the power drinks that are laced with addictive ingredients designed to hook you, to get you to come back and spend more money. All stepping stone products to addict you in the future.. All designed to get you try more powerful things. Sooner or later you will and before you know it you are out of control. You can’t stop. The triggers then will be denial, anger, paranoia, fear and resentment. All these lead to jail or death. Don’t believe me? In the past drug dealers gave you a free sample of what they wanted to sell you to get you to come back for more. It didn’t take long before you would do just about anything (steal, sell yourself, Do you remember girls?) to get the drug. Today they do that to sell you just about anything. You know the stories. The tragic death of the high school kid who used just a little too much or committed suicide because he or she thought they couldn’t stop…To get any money (tax dollars) from any state of federal program there should be a mandatory supervised drug test. No Exceptions….

"Live Journal"

I went to the beach yesterday in Old Saybrook to eat my lunch and there was one person there. It was cloudy and the threat of rain was eminent. We ate together near the water at a picnic table under an umbrella.…Rule 342.5.....Always carry a lunch you never know if you will get to eat it with a babe wearing a bikini. …I love being single…

Live Journal is not publishing my Tweets…It’s just a new thing I am doing. it’s a feature that I pay for so its not like its unusual. It’s a popular thing to tie in Twitter and Facebook .….Some days they work, some days they don‘t, now they don‘t and haven’t for a long time…I keep sending those Support Requests but to no avail. They say they get them (its automated) But nothing is ever done…If I didn’t pay for this site I could understand but you would think they (whoever they is) would at least try to help me….My settings are as they should be. Its not like I‘m doing something wrong…I am not going to keep resetting it…It should work until I shut it off. Its very frustrating to to look and find nothing there….
