"We Always Pay"

Ultimately, the American people pay for the unrest in Egypt by the rising gas and heating oil prices. It seems we are always evolved in everything whether we want to be or not. I don’t hear of any of our leaders in Washington saying anything about this. To me it seems the bad guys are doing these things to get at America? Its really bad out there. I notice there were protesters around the White House this weekend. Sorry, its late and I’ve got go and hang around with some sane people.

"Picture Day"

Picture day, I know, I know, it’s the day that you all breathlessly wait for..Its been so cold and horrible out there that I just can’t break away from my movie schedule. However, it was such a beautiful day yesterday that I did manage,at long last to go out to my favorite beach for a 3 mile walk near the water. I did take a few pictures and pick up some sea-glass. Its one favorite hobbies…It was very quiet and peaceful there and I had a chance to think some peaceful thoughts.

Would you believe the weather man has issued a bad air warning. This is second time this year that we have had polluted or stagnate air over the State of Connecticut and its only January 29th. I’m wondering when the drinking water will run out. Last year when I lived in Windsor Locks we were told not to drink the water. They thought there was some kind of chemical in it. So far I haven’t heard anybody say what's going to happen to all the water when this 70 inches of snow finally thaws. To PETA, will someone tell those moron farmers to move the horses and cows before anymore needlessly die when the barn roof collapse's. Well, enough bad news. The good news is its not snowing here today so I think I will go to the store and do some shopping before it snows again on Wednesday. One of the things I think about before I go, is where to go and will the parking lot be big enough to park. You have drive around for a while so you can see beyond the huge piles of snow. So far this season I haven’t seen one bucket loader moving any snow. I don’t understand how they are not getting ready for the next storm. Hang in there guys, it will be a few days before it gets worse…

"Egypt"

When I got up this morning I turned on the TV only to see vivid scenes of a riot and I always think about whether it could happen here. The question is, could what is happening in Egypt happen here in the the United States? I guess they are protesting over the high prices, corruption and no jobs. Sound familiar? There is also something about the leadership and someone being in office too long and won’t give up what ever it is. They all have those weird names so I don’t know who's who or who does what…They said, one of these leaders is friends with our government and our leaders. Is he the good guy or the bad guy? On the morning shows here they are talking about whether the meat in a burrito is real and Charlie being a drug addict. Is that a distraction or do real people care about this nonsense? In Egypt they are showing cops or solders shooting people with water cannons and rubber bullets. Is this the military shooting the citizens? It looks like that but if not, how come there are so many cops? How can anyone shut down the Internet? Wow, now that is a perfect example of fear and censorship. I’d like to see them try that in this country. I guess they think they are in Iran. How long will it take before they realize the people are angry and out of control and sometimes they want change. Where do the bad guys hide when things like this are happening? I can imagine them cowering in a Penthouse suite somewhere with an AK-47 and piles of money stacked up every where, upset because they couldn't sleep last night. Could this be a hidden message to our leaders? If so, the morons here won’t see it through the piles of money they have stacked up in their mansion's. Will there be a huge summer time riot here? Will we see a Kent State all over again? Are the people here in the U.S. angry enough and sick and tired of being led around by nose with promises and lies? Don’t our millionaire leaders realize the nothing is forever. Don’t they realize the people are getting impatient and that sometimes just maybe they need to do something or make a decision that will benefit the people and not themselves…

"Anxiety Pangs'

What a mess it is out there this morning..Around here our low-bidder snow plow guy with his jeep can’t figure out what to do with all the snow. I’m so glad I don’t have to go out. On TV all transportation is stalled and for the most part no one is going anywhere. Trucks are even banned from route 95 in Connecticut. Its really bad and I can just imagine the anxiety pangs of having to have to go to work. I would start like this….Get up an hour earlier. Clean the snow from the car and the windshield. Let the car warm up and then drive in horrific traffic with the other 5.1 million people who have to do exactly the same thing as me. What we have in common is we are probably going to be at a job we don’t really want but can’t leave because we are lucky to have one. We are earning just enough money but not quite enough to keep our heads above water so our families don’t freeze to death because heating oil is so expensive. I can’t find a price per gallon locally. Its so high they won’t say anything. They will give you a bid. The price must be high if you have to bid on it. I remember when 100 gallons cost $80 .…I don’t know what the government takes out of your checks for taxes these days but I can just imagine. I mean someone's got to pay for the Security guards and Charter jets the politicians use these days. We, the minions shell out $3.30 a gallon for gas, so we can drive to work in a blinding snow storm and get caught in a huge traffic jam, while your leaders decide whether to have the maid or nanny who is probably illegal, call the Limo to come and get them. Hey, what can I say? Someone's got to do it…If you do have a job and you do get to work, you stay there for 8 hours, that’s only if where you work still has 8 hour days or you stay till the clock says its time to go home only to take your life in your hands driving in traffic going between 80 and 100 miles per hour. That’s only if you don’t get caught in another traffic jam…..Don’t worry though, your leaders in Washington left early to have the Limo driver take them home so they can dress in that $5000 suit to go to a dinner party to honor the drug company lobbyist who gave them the extra $5 million dollars to get elected. That’s so the drug company's can make a pill that costs less than one tenth of a cent and charge you $12.76 per pill but that’s another story… Hey, that’s the way is in our land, home of the brave….

"They Don't Care"

As I sit here watching these morning shows and muting the obnoxious commercials. I mean does anyone really watch these things? These morning shows are where the host’s are in a perpetual state of pretend happiness. Keep in mind these shows are like reality shows and what they do is fake. Its exactly what it says, a show. These people are like robots. They don’t care. First, they talk too fast and I can’t understand what they are saying most of the time. Second, they report on bad weather and death with that stupid half grin then continue on like nothing happened. For example…..Robin Roberts on GMA is reporting on a bombing somewhere with that smug, “I’m better than you look” and says “38 people were killed in an explosion at the Russian airport”. Then she says, “Ju Ju over to you”. Ju Ju reports the body count all over again and the brain matter that is all over the walls, then Its over to the weather man who is surrounded with attractive young woo-woo girls. He reports while laughing about the hazardous driving conditions, showing a video of a huge accident that killed 3 people in a snow storm while he stands there in the middle of a bunch of giggling young girls, I’ll bet they are hand picked for their looks, him looking as stupid as possible. Then its off to four 2 minute commercials. Two are local and are about a sleazy package store and an Indian selling oriental rugs and two network both selling miracle drugs wanting you to ask your doctor about. When they come back Robin and Ju Ju are sitting on a couch trying to you sell you something or telling you watch something on TV. You have got to be kidding? Where did they come up with this Ju Ju name? Yet there are people that will believe all this nonsense. Its all fake and about taking your money…..…I will say that I did feel really bad that when all those people were shot, especially that innocent little girl and the beautiful Congress Woman that was injured. The tempo on the morning TV shows slowed down a little, not much but to somewhat of a caring chatter. It went on and on for almost 2 weeks like this poor woman was going to walk out of that hospital with her hands up the air showing the victory sign. They camp out at the hospital door because to the news, its all about the first one to report on her. Believe me they don’t care about her. She is only the news at that moment. Something to capture your interest so they can sell you something. Did they think being shot in the head was going to heal overnight? Well, they made it look that way. Let me tell you, a bullet at close range to the brain is more serious than what they made it out to be. Its going to take months maybe years for this woman to heal. She will never be the same again. The physical and psychological damage will never heal. She lives and that alone is a miracle. So back the news, its on to more blood and gore. A bombing here, a murder there. A riot in Cairo. The more death and gore the better. They don’t care. They don’t have time to care.

"Enfield Library Again'

Enfield Town Manager Matthew Coppler ordered Library Director Henry Dutcher not to speak to the media, according to the Journal Inquirer Newspaper. First the Michael Moore film was stopped from being shown. Now the Al Gore film is being stopped. This is beginning to look and feel like Nazi Germany in the 1940s. Who does this guy think he is? Someone should remind him this isn’t Iran. Does this guy know what he doing? Coppler is only a low level run of the mill Politian. A, lets say a town employee….A public servant. I’m beginning to think there is something crooked about this whole thing but then again who is stupid enough to do something like this. I mean this guy can’t be running for anything… He’s putting old Henry through Hell. Even I know that Henry avoids confrontation as much as possible. What is going on? I think an investigation by the Federal Government is in order here. The Library is a public building paid for by the Enfield Connecticut tax payers. More than likely Federal money in the form of grants was used also. Who is he to say that you can’t show a movie? Its not his building. I know that he didn’t pay for the movies…The whole idea of freedom of speech is choice to watch, do or see what you want. Especially in a public building. What they say in the movies is an opinion, its their choice. How do we know that Coppler hasn't done this before? Has he stopped certain books from being in the library? Has he stopped other movies from being there? I know that somewhere here laws were broken and this should be investigated.

"Whatever"

OK, I know, my picks were wrong but it wasn't from lack of effort…I had a feeling the Jets would lose but hey what can I say..They did scare the Steelers at the end but just couldn't pull it off. The Bears on the other hand would have done better but their team was riddled with injuries. I didn’t know that. They did try and I do give them credit for that.. Well, today, this morning I’ve got to get out of here so I’ll go meet with the guys and gals for breakfast. Yes, its cold and I mean really cold but I can’t stay home. We are going to get another storm on Wednesday so I really need to leave…Later guys…

"Football Day"

Big day today. The playoff for the teams that go to the Superbowl. There is no Giant blue but we do have Jet green. Oh well, I predicted the Jets will win and the Bears will win today and I’m sticking to it..We will see. Its so cold I didn’t go out last night and the cold front isn’t here yet. I stayed home and watched “Blue Valentine” I don’t know what to say about this movie so I won’t, except Gosling is at his usual best and Michelle Williams is another one of those wonderful actresses that will have a great future in movie land…I don’t know where these kids come from but she is in the big league with the rest of them and she fits right in…I have the “Kings Speech” for tonight and I’m looking forward to that. I love English movies. Lately I have been watching “Foyles War’ and some Catherine Cookson movies. They are the best…Well, I’ve got to venture out into this cold and get a salad and some other stuff so hang in there guys……………..Go Jets…

"Enfield Conn. Public Library"

The Enfield Public Library has canceled a screening of the Michael Moore documentary “Sicko” about the American health care system under pressure from the Enfield Conn. town council and mayor, prompting accusations of censorship. The Library Director is Henry Dutcher. The location of this library is 104 Middle Road, Enfield, CT 06082. Phone number for the library is 860 763 7510………I somehow knew that if there was a God I would meet up again with Henry Dutcher, the director of the Enfield Connecticut Public Library…The very same director that enjoys overcharging for a broken CD just because the patron doesn’t live in the town of Enfield. Well Henry, the Gods of, “What goes around comes around” have focused the attention on you. I hope you enjoy the limelight this has shed on you. Its so good to see your name again especially under these circumstances and in the paper and on the Internet, no less. By the way, my Blog goes all over the world……Enjoy, Henry, you deserve It… Hey, freedom of speech Henry, That’s what its all about…Freedom of speech…

"Old Lyme Connecticut"

I took a ride to Old Lyme Connecticut yesterday to visit the Library…This is one of the oldest and richest community's in the State. In fact the Pilgrims landed in Old Lyme in the second boat. The first one landed at the famous Plymouth Rock. On that ship was the Pastor of this Church. He died in 1729. His tomb stone is being preserved in a glass case in the Church. I noticed as I was driving by, people were coming out of a side door carrying bags of grocery's. It’s a food pantry. Something is very wrong here…

"The Car"

I watched 4 episodes of Rubicon last night. I like that spy stuff. Talk about conspiracies and enemy's within our government…It’s a good show I can’t wait till season 2..I have the new season of “The Wire”. Season 5 from HBO thanks to a friend of mine. I've seen all the seasons up to 5. I also have the new movie “Company Men” to watch tonight so it can get as cold as it wants. No cabin fever yet because I can get out during the day. I never thought I would say this but its just too cold to walk on the beach. I was down there yesterday morning…Check the picture's and don’t forget. Click on the picture for a better view….

While having all this free time on my hands because of the cold I was playing with my new phone and I found the maps. Touch the screen put in the location or zip code and there I am…My house is in there like on Google earth. Hotels, restaurants, its amazing. I can see how people get connected, even addicted to these things. I have notes, music, Doctors appointments and reminders programed already and I don’t even know how everything works. I should mention the cold. Last night it was 5 or 6 below zero here. I’m talking really cold. They said that it hasn’t been this cold here in 6 years. Tonight I’m supposed to go out with my friends but I’m not sure about that. I’ve been meeting with all my pals quite often but this weather is horrible. OK, maybe I just don’t want get my car dirty, I can’t help that. Not to long ago I had an ex-girl say I was. Her words….“Too much in love that car” Can you believe that? Where did that come from? Excuse me I said, this car is my hobby and explained, “It’s a Mustang”. She said it was either her or the car. Duh, what kind of a choice is that? It’s a no brainer, of coarse I took the car, are you kidding me? Have a good one guys, stay warm…

"I Was Thinking"

I haven’t seen a storm like this in years and I don’t think snow was in the game plan when they built this place. The snow removal equipment here is inadequate and the parking lots are so messed up that I couldn’t go anywhere if I wanted to. While I was hanging around yesterday I was thinking…The shooting and killing is going on all over the country. A Congress woman, God bless her, gets shot and now our Washington, wanna be big wigs want to carry guns…Its like no one else counts. Everyday people are dying from guns. Did they just notice this? They think its about them. Everyday somebody gets shot or stabbed because of a bad drug deal. Didn't they hear about the school shootings, the work shootings, the drive-by shootings, the angry husband or wife shootings and the kids killing kids. My God, a 10 year old boy just walked up behind his Mother and shot her in the back of the head over doing chores. Are they blind? A lot of people die because of the anger and rage in this country. Don’t they realize that some of this anger is because of their inept decision making and corruption. Its like when your local News team interviews someone standing on the street and person says “I didn’t think something like this would happen in my neighborhood”? Hey, wake up moron. The bad guys and sickos pop up where you least expect it. Depression greed and hate is rampid. Its everywhere. The kid that shot those people is insane. These are copycat murders. His parents are saying they are sorry. Sorry! I don’t care how old he is or if he lived in a cave! Where were his parents and so called friends when he was showing the warning signs. There are warning signs…This insanity happens every day, all over the country. It’s the Lawyers, Loopholes and the Law that keep the sick people from getting help. Our so called Washington leaders are all Lawyers and the law makers and only care about themselves. All they care about making deals and under the table scams. There is no one there that can make a decision without getting something in return, worrying about what someone is going to say or thinking about getting reelected. Tell me that isn’t true! That’s what its all about. Its getting worse every day…The question is who is going to die today, because they certainty don’t care…

"Storm"

We are in the middle of a white out here in E. Lyme. Its really bad out there. Yesterday, I had the pre-storm anticipation pangs like in the old days when I worked for the State of Connecticut at Bradley International Airport…Its strange because I haven’t done that job in years…It felt like like they were going to call me to go to work. Toward the end of my career for the last 3 of those years, I wouldn’t work during a snow storm. I told them not to call me. They tried everything to make me come in to work but when I finally came in with a Doctors letter telling them I couldn’t work, they gave up. Besides I worked there for 20 years and I had a built-in, “We can’t fire this guy clause” I can’t count the Holidays I missed during those working years. That’s the sad part. I resented them for taking away all the Christmas’s and Thanksgiving’s not to mention the New Years celebrations. Those things only happen once a lifetime and believe me it wasn’t worth it. I commend everyone that does that job but no amount of money is worth it…When they called me, I would go in for a minimum of 3 days. It was just too much for me. I was so happy when I quit that job after 20 years and started working for U.S. Government. I had my own office and car and no phone calls. If something happened I would delegate someone to fix it then call me…I transferred from the Federal Building in Hartford to the Navy Hospital in Groton Connecticut and worked the second shift from 3 to 11…It was a blessing and so peaceful. I have never missed a Holiday at home since. I have lived near the ocean more or less since I came down to work at the Base. I won’t ever go back…..

"Blizzard Two"

OMG, more snow today. actually tonight. I should be home by the time it starts. Not that I’m going anywhere special. I’m just going to get some chores done………

I feel really bad for the people that got caught up in all that insanity in Tucson. It bothers me because things like this are part of the norm in our society today. If it didn’t happen there it would have been somewhere else. I heard that some Politian's will start to carry guns now. Didn’t they learn anything about this disaster. The people are angry and its time to figure out why? They don’t realize they work for the people and it involves doing things for the people. Not for themselves. I know why things like this happen and I have been saying it for months and months. I've been writing about the rage in this Country for a long time and its escalating every minute of everyday. What they are talking about now is business as usual and that usually cost the taxpayers more. Its just got to stop….It got to the point that I had to stop for a while. Yes, its true, I did have a 1000 consecutive posts but that was only half the problem. I needed a break from thinking about those things…I turned to Twittering a lot of the issues away and in a sense sharing the craziness with my followers and online friends….Its working so far. Its like I’m not carrying the load all by myself. I haven't heard any complaints so I must be doing something right….My Blog page has my Twittering's on it. You can see I’ve been pretty busy.. Like I said its going to be one of those pre-storm days where everybody is rushing around doing things…Everyone except me that is

"New Phone"

I was messing around with my new phone yesterday. Its amazing and I haven't even turned on the internet yet. I have been practicing finding things. Hey, I’m not on this thing all day…Well, I discovered that I can write and sent messages in my hand writing. While searching around I found that it has an FM radio. I couldn’t believe how many stations it gets and clear it comes in. Great for when I’m walking on the beach. I was in the house with my stereo head set on and it works great. The key pads pop up on the links and its easy to use with the caps and the numbers. Its fast and easy to understand. No clicking here and there or putting caps where they are not supposed to be… The camera is the best and it even makes videos. There is so much on it and I haven’t even been on the Internet. The best part is that I have the same service and phone number that I’ve had for years with no monthly payments. I’ll need minutes before then but if I didn’t I wouldn't have to buy them until January 2012..Unbelievable…I don’t usually mention brand names or stories but this one is a winner. It’s a Nokia Nuron. I did mention the statistics and the server in a past post. My advice is before you just go out and spend a small fortune, sign a contract, give a deposit or anything at all. Think! You don’t need another monthly payment…First decide you really want a phone like this then wait for a while. They want you too but never ever buy compulsively in a situation like this….If you still want it after 3 or 4 months do the research on what you want it to do. When you find the one, check all the servers but most of all try not to sign a contract….Remember, out there in the business world anything goes, you are nothing but a consumer and all they care about is taking your money…..You never ever get anything for nothing. It may sound like it but believe me, you don’t have to spend a lot to get what you what………… Good Luck..

‘Its Like a War”

Lets face it. Its like we are in sort of a war…All of us go around gleefully ignoring what is happening around us pretending that we are in a bubble. We go out each day never really knowing if you are going to come home safe. 10 or 15 years ago you would leave in morning saying, “See you tonight Hun” and never really think about it because it felt like it was going to happen. Hey, it was a sure thing. Now, in 2011 the chances of coming home are less than were 10 years ago. The store you go into might be the last store you ever stop in. The cars that crash on the highway are going so fast they disintegrate into unrecognizable pieces. The office or shop you work in could be the last place you ever go. Do you trust the person in the next room, the customer that just walked in, the guy that sits next to you. Everywhere you go you see strangers speaking a foreign language. I don’t understand what they are saying. Today I feel suspicious of the people around me. That, it can’t happen to me attitude isn't there anymore. Are they talking about me or planning something? A Congress woman was shot in the head and a Federal judge killed, plus others were killed in the melee yesterday. I’ve been on Twitter for the past few weeks reading and reporting on the insanity in this country by way of links and I’ll tell you its really bad out there. Its just not safe anymore. The anger is a silent and deadly. Its contagious and dangerous. You can actually see it and feel it. Anywhere you go, you don’t know if someone has a gun or a bomb. Remember a few years ago when a post office worker shot and killed his fellow workers. The phrase, ‘Dude, don’t go postal on me” was born. Well, its not funny anymore and its happening everywhere now. It could be the person standing next to you on the bus or in a subway or in a plane. It could be in that coffee shop or Super Market you go to in the morning. It doesn’t matter what State you are in its happening everywhere. It could be your neighbor. Its just not safe anymore. If it happens to you, maybe you will never know and probably won’t hear the shots. Although its safe to say it will be recorded and shown on the news or U Tube at a later date… Keith Olbermann is right, its domestic terrorism and its got to stop. I think its too late. Some really tough changes have to be made….

"Moment of Clarity”

You see a sign in a store window. Sale! Sale! Sale! So you think, you need one of those. Or you have always wanted one of those. Even being a nice person you will share or give it away. The sign said 50% to 75% off and if you buy 2 and you get the third one free. So you say to yourself. Self, I think I’ll get a few of those whether I need them or not. You go into the store and you buy 2 and you do get the 3rd one free. You go home then after a while you look at the sales slip and realize you could have bought one of those items at another store for 3 times less money. Then you say to yourself. Self, these crooks jacked the price up 300% and that you paid the regular price for each item. The store still made 4 times the money over what they paid for that item. That was a scam and that guys, is what is described as “Moment of clarity”. That has never happened to me because I realize I absolutely never get anything for free. In this country where its legal to steal, lie, cheat all for the sake of the economy. All's fair when it come to business. P.T Barnum supposedly said, although there's some question about that too, “There is a sucker born every minute”. Its worse now than it ever was. There is always someone around every corner willing to scam or cheat you…From the grocery store mixing sale items with the higher priced items, I just brought something back. I thought it was on sale and I , you guessed it. I paid 3 times what it was worth without realizing it. I went a got my money back. To the TV preacher stealing from the senior citizens. How about the heating oil and gas prices? Those freaks don’t need to charge that much for fuel. They know that the price of gas controls the U.S. Economy. Its our life blood. It doesn’t matter to them. Are our leaders just too stupid to know this or is there something else going on? And lastly, this is for all of you who think that buying the most expensive item because if it cost a little more it must be better. Wrong! They jack up the prices on the cheaper things for people like you, who think just because it cost a little more its better. Well its not. Its stuff they want to get rid of to people who think that expensive is better….That’s business in good old U.S.A. That, all you rich folks out there was a “Moment of Clarity”…..

"Good Voice Guy"

Snow today …In fact the clouds are rolling in now. I suppose that means a day home with no Football. My problem is who to root for? I guess it will be Jets over the Colts..I don’t Know.. Lately, I've been down in the dumps as they say because my team lost. I’m still upset about that. Oh, and I did get a new cell phone. I sent for it on the internet. I’ve had T-Mobile for years so to keep my phone number I stayed with T-Mobile and got a Nokia Nuron and 500 minutes for about $130 dollars. I don’t have renew my minutes for a year with no contract. I’m a gold rewards costumer. If I want to, I can get on the Internet for $1.50 per day in a matter of seconds its so fast. It’s a touch screen phone and its up to date with all the new technology. I went over to the Mall to the T-Mobile service desk and they set it up for me…The result of my patience is no phone bill, no renew the minutes for a year and Internet anytime I choose to have it.I think that is a good deal and If I’m going to have a cell phone it might as well be a good one that’s up to date…

Its boring at the beach when snows. I hate to have to put on coats, scarfs and gloves just to walk on the beach. Hey, I’m not the only one who’s there either. There are other nuts walking too. Once you live near the ocean you don’t want to be anywhere else. There is something about being near the water that’s magnetic. I was talking to someone the other day that moved away but had to come back like I did. Lets face it, I need the ocean a stones throw away. I can only describe it as “Feeling complete and comfortable”. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

On the voice guy drug addict. He was just on GMA. The question of the day is.“Will he make it?” All this attention is very overwhelming whether he knows it or not. No predictions here but I will say he had better have a trusted sponsor and a solid foundation. The high of this popularity will not last forever. There will be a time when he comes crashing back to earth. The thing is and I really mean this, The Good luck of the day goes to good voice guy. Don’t forget to set an example and go to meetings…

"Aw Have a Heart"

Ok, I’m back for a while because there are things I just can’t resist writing about and one of them is our old friend Dick Chaney.

Dick Chaney needs a heart. Any volunteers out there? Cash money on the barrel head……Wait, wait lets go back a little. …Does the theory, “What goes around comes around”, really work? Is it true? OJ Simpson hired three Lawyers and got off from a double murder charge. Only later he did end up in prison on a unrelated charge…It came around for him. Actor Robert Blake hired a big Hollywood Lawyer and got off a murder charge. Has it come around for him? He disappeared, we really don’t know. I do know he doesn’t have a career anymore. The same lawyer that got him off, got Michael Jackson off from a child molestation charge. Then Michael hired a Drug dealer Doctor to give him drugs. How's that working out for you Michael? If the super rich want something they just buy it or hire someone to do their bidding. Other recipients or will soon be winners of the “Goes around award” are….Lindsey Lohan. If this young actress doesn’t stop using drugs and drinking it will come around for her..Remember Heath Ledger, well it came around for him as it will for Charlie Sheen if he doesn’t make a decision to stop abusing himself. I realize this has nothing to do Mr.Chaney but let me finish. Can you figure out yet where I’m going with this?…Remember Congressman Gary Condit from California? He was the one having sex with that young intern until she got murdered. Years later someone else got arrested the crime but for a long time everyone thought he did it…It came around for him…He lost his job and I’ll bet people still think he did it. Remember Anna Nichol Smith, Judy Garland, Janis Joplin, Elvis Presley, Chris Farley, Andy Gibb, James Belushi and so many more lost their lives due to the use and abuse of drugs and alcohol…I’m getting off track here but lets just say it did come around for this group of people, all famous, rich and thought they could buy anything….Now back to Dick…Well, this guy has a pile and I mean a huge pile of money from the oil company's and it would probably take you and I and all our relatives 40 years to spend. Now, he is sitting on this fortune, that he can’t take with him by the way. Oh and by gosh, what to do…Dick needs a heart..He’s 72 years old and wants to be on the heart list..How far down on that list is he, you ask? Actually quite far. 3169 people long. They say the list is for the near death or people with less than 6 months to live. Here's the question here? Will his Billions of dollars get him higher on the list or can he buy a heart? Sadly, Mr. Chaney has had this condition for about 30 years. I think it has to do with the severity of his illness and his projected life span. Is it coming around for the ex-vice President?…We will see. If he suddenly has a new heart, did his cash buy it? Hey, a big donation here and there. Remember he’s a Politian with connections and power. Its not like he hasn't paid for this and that before. Will he use his influence to get a heart? Of coarse, it could be that maybe its time for things to come around to him. Remember, “Goes around comes around”.. Good Luck Mr. Chaney. I wish you well. We now know money can buy Doctors, Lawyers and drugs. We will soon see if money can buy hearts and happiness…

If you recall, I sometime write about various girlfriends and woman and how I title them. The deli girl, the fruit stand girl and one of my all time favorites the revenge sex girl from last August. Now I will tell you a little secret. This is classified so don’t say anything but when I see an interesting prospect and I think she may attracted to me, I don’t know how I know this but somehow I do. I stop and take the time to get to know her. I did get shot down by the fruit stand girl. No married women allowed. With my expert social skills and great smile I put on my “Antonio Banderas” act and ask if we could get to know each other better. She doesn’t have to answer I know already and I say if she is interested to call me. Its then I give her my card with my home phone, cell phone and EM address. Don’t forget I have done the my research. Yes, I do research. I almost know without her telling me what the answer will be. They always take the card. I think woman like that clandestine stuff. Well call me a prophet and Happy Valentines day to me, the last little lovely I gave my card to called me and we have a date tonight. I don’t do the card thing often. This time I stopped into one of my favorite convenience stores to get a coffee and talk to a friend of mine and OMG who was behind the counter but the “convenience store girl“. I did a double take that I hope she didn’t notice and went to get the coffee. My friend wasn’t there so I went over to pay and make small talk with you know who. That’s when I got that look. You know the one. The one you ladies make when you blush. The one where you can’t look at that guy in the eye because of what you are thinking. Right, that one… I love it when that happens.. Well, after a minute and not getting a chance to do or say anything because of other people in the store, I left. I glanced up at the reflection in the window as I was walking out and seen her watch me leave. I knew that I would be going back that day. Hell, It was 10 minutes later and she had my card tucked away safely in her pocket saying was going to call me. It didn’t take me long to turn the Mustang around and get back to the store and give it to her. It took her 2 weeks but the phone finally rang and guess who it was? Right, the convenience store girl…I said to myself. Self, you did it again. The irony is Its Valentines day and Lucky Lar has a date. I would have never thought that it would happen like that.. That alone is very interesting but I am not going to analyze it and for me there will be no expectations. I could be sitting next to the barroom girl crying in my non-alcoholic beer. We will see what happens. Hey, who knows?
