 To date, none of these theories have panned out. But wherever the truth may lie, one thing is for certain: Jimmy Hoffa -- former Teamsters leader, convicted felon, Kennedy enemy and alleged mobster cohort -- hasn't been seen since July 30, 1975.

 

 

On Friday, police again looker for the union boss who was declared dead in 1982, under the driveway of a house in Roseville, Michigan, just outside Detroit. A tipster told police that a body was buried at the spot around the same time the Teamsters head disappeared. Police found no "discernible remains" in the search, police Chief James Berlin said.

It's a disappearance that has held on to the public's imagination far longer than Hoffa was in power -- a testament both to Hoffa's high profile and the power of mystery, says pop culture expert Robert Thompson of Syracuse University.

 Comment........ I remember when this happened. I did not do any research for this. All this is from memory. Can you imagine how many times I did research and said to myself,  Hey. That's not the way I remember it. Some of the powers to be seem to have the knack of even changing History. Robert Kennedy the Attorney General of the United States at the time was, to make a long story short was very angry at Hoffa for insulting him. I don't remember what he said. Mr. Kennedy fired back accusing him of lying to congress and the verbal battle began.. Name calling and insults going back and forth via the media. It was pretty bad.  From what I understood at the time Kennedy and his brother who happened to be the President were very upset. Or at least that's what the press said. Later on from what I could read between the lines Hoffa, a big shot union leader and suspected gangster disappeared. It was then while old Giant Stadium was being built in New Jersey that the rumors started that Hoffa was buried under the Goal posts. Hey, you tell me what happened. I'm still trying to figure out what happened to Martha Mitchell who died suspiciously during the Nixon administration. She had a habit of talking to the press about some very embarrassing things. I seem to remember she liked being in the limelight. However while looking from the outside years ago. Our leaders used the CIA, FBI and various Government agency's for some from what I consider unusual things when they couldn't get what they wanted. Like the Marilin Monroe incident and her JFK issues but that is another story for another day....

More Americans now commit suicide than die in car crashes, making suicide the leading cause of injury deaths, according to a new study.

In addition, over the last 10 years, while the number of deaths from car crashes has declined, deaths from poisoning and falls increased significantly, the researchers report.

"Suicides are terribly undercounted; I think the problem is much worse than official data would lead us to believe," said study author Ian Rockett, a professor of epidemiology at West Virginia University.

In the past year, over 2.2 million adults revealed they had made suicide plans in the past year, and over 1 million reported attempting suicide.

Comment ...... The title statistic here is what captured my interest.. Morbid yes but very real. This is a subject people don't like to think about, putting it on the back shelf saying it can't happen to me. Well, yes, it can happen to you and your family.  First, I think the primary reason for suicide is the hopelessness of Alcoholism and Drug Addiction. Its all around you and if look really close someone in your family has this disease. Yet this is only the tip of the iceberg and one of the many reasons for suicide... Look at the declining family values and morals and all the Mom and Dad divorces? The Television in your house if you can still stand to watch, is constantly programing you to do some not so nice things and buy, buy, buy and spend, spend, spend. Even the music of today is suggesting you have sex and is using foul language encouraging you with the lyrics. If young men and woman think they can do this without guilt and consequences, think again. When getting a job means working in a fast food restaurant or a Super Market stocking shelf's or checking out people, listening to that constant high pitched beep at the computer register.... They call that a career?... Do they expect you to do this for the next 30 years and be happy? Of coarse now there is more and more credit card debt. If you can't afford it just charge it and pay later. Right? Then student loan debt and losing a real job and the career you thought was safe and would last forever. Along with this comes losing your home and living in a country where greed is the key word and all they want is your money... All these things lead to anger, rage, loneliness, despair and depression. There is only so much people can take. So now with the continuously rising gas and food prices, a Presidential election coming up and from what I can see no real changes, I expect this statistic to go up...

The warning echoes threats made over the last three weeks -- that Iran will destroy Israel if it launches an attack on Iran, The Jerusalem Post reported.
In an interview with state-owned al-Aram TV, Brig. Gen. Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Revolutionary Guard's aerospace division said Iran would target U.S. bases in the Middle East should Israel attack, the Post said.

Comment....Then he said they would, "Wipe Israel from the face of the earth" .. I thought Hillery and Huma were over there getting this issue ironed out? What is our President saying about this? I think they call this posturing...I said it before, I have a feeling something really bad is going to happen....

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- A Pakistani government minister Saturday offered a $100,000 bounty for the death of person behind the anti-Islam video that set off widespread violence.
Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmad Bilour called on Taliban and al-Qaida members "to take part in this noble cause," the BBC reported.
"If he is handed over to me, I will do it myself," the British network quote him as saying.

Comment .........Let me see if I got this right? The country we send aid (Billions of American dollars) put a bounty for the death of the guy that made the anti Muslim movie...And to top it off a Pakistani Government official said  he would, "personally kill the guy himself"...Is this enough for the American taxpayers to say stop sending aid to this primitive backward country....Oh wait, American taxpayers have no say on this issue....All those decisions are made by that, "Corrupt Illinois American President" and the Politicians in Washington...If you or I said those things here in America we would be arrested yet its OK to say those things in the country we (taxpayers) send American Dollars. ...None of this makes sense to me...No wonder America is circling the drain...

The U.S. gave $20.7 billion in military and economic development aid to Pakistan from fiscal 2002 through fiscal 2011, according to a new report that FOX Business has obtained that was issued by specialists in South Asian Affairs for the Congressional Research Service [CRS] to Congress on May 6.
The report also shows that the U.S. gave Pakistan $1.3 billion in 2003 and 2004 to help cancel an earlier $1.5 billion debt Pakistan owed U.S. taxpayers. The U.S. gave $4.46 billion to Pakistan in fiscal 2010. The Administration purportedly wants to lift Pakistan’s 2012 total aid to $3.4 billion from the $2.96 billion CRS says has been requested for 2012.

"And They Lived Happily Ever After"

    Each morning I get what they call a "Google Alert Email"...I pick the topic or name of a person and they send me all the information about that person or event in the form of an EM. This happens once a day or how ever how many times I want it..I also get Em's and updates from most of the local newspaper news or local channel headline news. I do this because I don't watch television news. I only watch sports on TV.....After getting these things for a while I discovered its the same news every day...Its exactly the same, I couldn't believe it...Its always all about the most outrageous things people do to each other, their pets, wives, kids or mothers and fathers...The question is, do we really need to know these very disturbing things? I noticed the only thing different is the names and the towns and cities they come from. It never changes it just goes and on and on. Why are people acting out with this kind of behavior you may ask?
     The bottom line here is the United States is not a happy place and it hasn't been for a long time. Things are changing faster than people can cope...The Trillions of dollars of National Debt and the Hurtfully high gas prices. Do you really know how much a Trillion of anything is let alone a Billion? Paying $4.00 a gallon for something worth maybe 50 cents a gallon, if that. American Politicians will not say a word about that...Why?.. Because Washington with all its Lawyer manipulation and legal corruption in the form of donations from oil company's and God only knows who else. Its because of greed and self interest and if they can't steal it they just legalize it and take it anyway. That's why. We are at a point where I don't have to prove anything saying what I say. Just look around you! The proof is everywhere.
     Then there are the decaying morals and family values of the younger generation. Think about that son and daughter you may have or your little niece and nephew. There are young kids somewhere in your family. If you don't have any, think about your friends son and daughter. Who will they be having sex with in say, 2 years, 5 years or 10 years? Well, actually the question should be how many guys will she be having sex with? How many young girls will he be having sex with?...The TV in your house is programing them constantly and saying everybody does it, why not you? It is saying to your kids you can't have real fun unless you drink alcohol and use drugs. You think it can't happen to your son and your daughter? Wanna bet? Take the time to check and see what they are doing on that laptop you bought for them for school...
      Government spending and Welfare are out of control  The Foreign aid alone is outrageous.. Bail outs? You have got to be kidding, The Banks and the Stock Market have very few rules. What rules they have if you can call them that, have been stretched to the limit. A Lawyer will just manipulate the words to fix the problem. No one will take responsibility. No one will make the tough decisions. What I just wrote here just scratches the surface.They just talk, talk, and more talk. Its all about deals and with who..You just pay and pay. It cannot continue. Lines have to be drawn. It can't last. Something is going to happen. The United States government is in serious trouble. Something has to give...Do you remember when stories ended with, "And they lived happily ever after"? Well, "that will never happen now, ever"...

Lindsay Lohan was arrested in New York early Wednesday morning.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was arrested in New York for allegedly clipping a pedestrian and leaving the scene of an accident, police said.

Authorities said Lohan allegedly struck a man while trying to navigate her 2010 Porsche Cayenne out of an alleyway between the Dream Hotel and the Maritime on 16th Street around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

She was driving slowly and there was a crowd of people around her when the incident happened, police said. There were two people in the SUV with Lohan at the time.

Police say no alcohol was involved.

Comment....I seen this article this morning and had to think about for a while. ..I always wait and give her the benefit of the doubt. It looks like Lindsey is in trouble again...Did she even know what she did? Was she set up? Is it a blond thing with her? A two year old Porsche? Huh? I didn't know she still had a drivers license after all the stuff that happened in the past..."Lindsay"...("Raising my voice a little here")...Limo and a driver from now on Please!....Do you even have a clue?
