       Now, a little bit of some, “Words that make you think“…I was talking to a friend of mine who just happens to be Catholic priest about God and the mystery of a strength greater than myself. I asked him about the connection of God and the church and a drug addict or an alcoholic who has denied God but now needs a power greater than him or her self to stay clean or stop drinking. He said “Lar, The people who go to church every Sunday are afraid to go to Hell. The people who ask God to help them stay clean and sober have already been there“. “That’s the difference“…I still have goose bumps….

DID YOU KNOW  As you walk up the steps to the building which house the U.S. Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with a full frontal view ...It is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments!

“Diversity In America"

 When I post my work from the past it reminds me of how we as humans are so much like sheep and robots. By posting this now I am reminding myself that I am free to do as I want and I am not just a little different from the norm... I will never change! I will do what I want when I want and only if I want to....

This is sort of an updated version that was written on Mar. 4th, 2011 and posted on LiveJournal.....

In this country we have the people that think reality TV shows are real. There are the Millionaires that live on one side of town and the criminals that live on the other side. We have 20 year old kids who live in a bubble and write their memoir because they have a famous Mom. Huh! Now if that’s not all about the money, what is? We have the people that think they live in a free country. Forgetting that every move they make is watched and scrutinized by satellites, security cameras and God only knows who else. Remember that free country you lived in a long time ago the next time you are x-rayed at an airport and they look at your private parts. More odd than that is, you accept it and let them do it. If you think about it, that in its self is terrorism. Never mind when they run their hands up your legs and buttocks. I always wonder what kind of a person looks at crotches for a living. I mean what kind of person really does that....If someone did that to you on the street now a days they would be shot or arrested for assault. Next we have the victims and the crooks. More crooks though and its getting worse. We have the people that actually believe all the TV commercials and max out their credit cards buying that junk. We have some honest Politicians. The ones that are public servants. Can I still say Obama is a public servant? Wait! Huh, Where? Honest, just a minute I’m looking for the honest one! And then we have the corrupt. There aren’t many honest ones and now its hard to tell the difference. Now they are all Lawyers in Washington and have changed all the rules and laws to make everything that was illegal, legal...Like donations, deals and favors. I keep thinking of Blagojevich, Jessie Jackson Jr., Charlie Rangel and that slime that had the money in the freezer. Aren't they from Illinois like Obama? Hey, I could be wrong. Then there are the drug addicts that think they are special like that dead drug addict pedophile who died thinking he was better than you because he could hire a Doctor drug dealer to shoot him up. Then there is Whitney Houston, oh, shes dead too.....They always seem to end up dead....Of coarse there are the drug addicts that are out of control and will kill you and your family for material things. There is Charlie Sheen who criticizes the AA Big Book. Ask the millions of sober Alcoholics about that one. At this point in his life I think Charlie thinks he is better than God. I feel bad for his father and brothers. I don’t know who his Mom was but I feel sorry for her too. Then we have the radical Muslims and the regular Muslims. They have 2 Gods. One is the killer God who kills children. The other isn’t. Its hard to tell the difference. You never know which one will walk into grocery store and blow it up to kill everyone. We have the Christians, they are all the same. At least for now they are. You never know about later...Remember the crusades. They weren't so nice then. We have a lot of black people and white people. Most are good but there are mostly black people in the prisons. I wonder why that is? We have Illegal and legal aliens. Most are honest but some spoil it for all the others and steal from the welfare system. It hurts everyone when they do that. They don’t seem to care and laugh at you when you pay for their groceries and then can’t buy gas for your car to be able to go to work to pay taxes to buy their grocery’s. We have our own oil wells in this country but we send the oil to other countries and then we buy oil from the countries that hate Americans and kill our soldiers that are trying to protect them. There are the people that sue the State and the Government. Who they are really suing is the people in this country. We pay for the Lawyers and they are suing us for tax dollars. Connecticut has a State Income Tax. It was supposed to be temporary. They lied... That was 20 years ago. They allowed the Indians in Connecticut to build Casinos so tax dollars on revenues could pay for education in Connecticut. Now they are closing schools and cutting school programs. The result is dying communities around the Casinos and schools filled with the children of casino workers and their Illegal children. Now they want to tax the coupons that save you a dollar. Its Insane…There is so much more but I’ll save it for another day....

“Just Ask God or Not”

           
Warning! …..This is about God and the Church, so if you are offended when someone writes about this topic, please stop here. To proceed any further might cause peace serenity and happiness and if you are content in your misery and resentment I don’t want to say anything that will spoil it for you….
    
Every once and a while I get the urge to visit a Church. It’s usually when something good happens and I want to thank God personally, I make a personal appearance. I accept it when bad things happen because its usually my fault and it involves a bad decision. When those bad things happen I don’t blame God but that is a whole other story….I was brought up a Catholic. I even went to a Catholic school…… Well, a while ago I asked my God for something. You could say I prayed for it…I don’t usually do that unless its something nice for someone else. This time I asked for something for myself. It was for something impossible and I would have never thought in a million years that it would happen…Honestly there was no chance, not even a one in a million chance for this to happen to me…I have to be very careful what I ask for so I don‘t ask for much.  Of coarse this depends what point of view you have…A while ago at weak moment I asked for something that can only be described as beautiful and it was nothing short of a miracle when it happened…But that is not what this is about. This is about when I got that urge to visit a Church to say thank you and to try to figure out why this wonderful thing would happen to me. I decided to stop in a Church to see if maybe I could figure out why this happened? I should have known better…I happened to be in Norwich Connecticut the other day when I decided to stop in the Sacred Heart Church on Merchants Ave.….I parked the car, got out and walked across the lawn only to find all the doors locked. I even checked the side doors.…My first emotion was disappointment ….Why weren’t the doors unlocked so I could go in and meditate? Here I am standing outside and I am feeling locked out. This is not one of those things where you just go to another Church. This was special….I was upset for about an hour, until I thought about it for a while…I thought…Why should I ask God why this happened? Who am I to ask why? A prayer is a prayer even if you only think about it. Let it happen without asking why! Enjoy it while you can. I will use each moment of the gift that God has given me. I will be saying thank you for a long time to come…

"$12 BILLION DOLLARS PROFIT"

 At the shoreline where I live in Connecticut, I don't know about your area but the price at the gas pump here is very slowly dropping a meager penny or two every week or so since Obama is trying to gain momentum in the up and coming election. The prices per gallon vary here from $3.74 to $3.89 a gallon. To me I call it $4.00 a gallon because in a sense it is. Remember, this is summer time, the prime "Lets charge as much as we can get season". Its odd for the price to be going down...Do you think Obama said, OK oil buddy's I need to be reelected so lets ease up and cut back on the price of gas to give the fools out there some false hope. After I win the election you can charge anything you want.... Like almost $12 BILLION dollars in oil profits isn't enough!  You cannot imagine in your wildest dreams how much money that is....Oil is one of our greatest natural resources and its monopolized and controlled by the most selfish people in the world! Its an example of total and absolute greed. What if these bastards could control water? Isn't that something for all those corrupt Washington politicians to be proud of ??? Like, lets see see how fast we can bleed the American people to death....Not one of those corrupt Bastards is saying a word about that....How much money do they want??....I wouldn't want to be those GREEDY oil company BASTARDS and those corrupt political hacks when its time to meet their maker. I'll even bet some of these morons think they can take all the cash with them. I heard even Allah is angry at these creeps and that is one Entity I wouldn't want to piss off..... However, I know that my God would probably forgive them but will still send them to Hell. He will just make the spot they go to not quite as hot as that of a serial killer but I certainly wouldn't want that gas nozzle up my a--hole for eternity........

“Higher Power, where show me?"

As you know or don’t know, I’m not religious nor do I preach about what’s right or wrong with any Faith…Do I understand why a supposedly religious people will maliciously kill members of another faith just because they believe in an interpretation in a book, saying its OK for them to do that? No, of coarse I don’t, that’s Insane… However, I do believe that I have a Higher Power that sort of keeps an eye on me and gives me guidance in this very, very troubled world. Do I listen? Yes, most of the time I do. I especially hear when he says no. Do I understand why? No, I don’t. Do I question? No, I don’t…But I do believe….Prove it you say…Well, let me put it this way….I know for sure that, I would be dead if I didn't have a higher power that was in control of my life. Why? I don't know, but I know this for sure…“I would rather live as if there is a God and die and find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn’t, and find out there is”..
