Mink let go near Jewell - FreemanJournal.net | Webster City, Iowa, News, Sports, Jobs, Community Info. - The Daily Freeman Journal:

"JEWELL IOWA - The Hamilton County Sheriff's office received a report that approximately 1,200 to 1,500 mink were released from their cages in the early morning hours on Friday. The incident occurred at a rural Jewell residence.
The report said that unknown persons opened pens in several buildings and let the mink loose. The Sheriff's Department, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and FBI are investigating the case. It was also reported that the release of these animals is considered an act of domestic terrorism."

Comment.......Huh! Domestic terrorism? Your kidding, right Sheriff? Making a little joke, right? That charge will be changed to a B and E and trespassing before it gets to the DA's office...Even a half way decent lawyer will have them walking almost before you can post bail....Terrorism, like the government has time for this....I don't think you are scaring anybody...These guys are laughing at you Sheriff....
