Former Rep. Swindall gets probation over contributions - Daily Report

Former Rep. Swindall gets probation over contributions - Daily Report:

"Downtown developer and former Congressman Pat Swindall has been sentenced to one year of probation after pleading guilty to three misdemeanor counts involving an alleged 2005 scheme to funnel $8,000 in "straw donor" campaign contributions to former Atlanta City Councilwoman Joyce Sheperd.
The disposition form notes that Swindall entered an Alford plea, under which he accepted the sentence without admitting criminal culpability.

There is no such thing as a little corrupt... Corrupt is corrupt whether its $8000 dollars or $80,000 dollars....I think anything over $100 is a felony he should go to prison...NOT PROBATION!!! You can bet if he got away this there would have been more....These Bastards are just one of the reasons our country is like it is....
