Spokesman: Blagojevich To Make Statement Before Prison | WUIS – My Source for News
Rod Blagojevich’s spokesman says the former Illinois governor won’t slip quietly out of Chicago next week on his way to start serving a 14-year prison sentence and plans to make a public statement.
Glenn Selig told The Associated Press on Wednesday that Blagojevich will make the statement in person in Chicago days before he reports to a federal prison March 15. He wouldn’t discuss other details.
Comment....Will it matter if this convicted corrupt Illinois politician makes a statement..He is still going to prison for 14 years no matter what he says...he should have went to prison a month ago...Keep in mind this Bastard tried to sell the appointment of Obama's Senate seat to the highest Bidder...Those suspected were Rep. Jessie Jackson Jr. They also said Blagojevich sought a cabinet post or a high-paying Washington job in exchange for appointing Mr Obama's choice - Valerie Jarrett, now a White House aide to the Senate seat. Classic backroom behind closed doors corruption...Notice Obama's name in the mix...I don't believe he is clean in this matter...
