Cop killed self, shot man amid marital woes
SALEM (AP) - The Essex County District Attorney's office says a Hamilton policeman believed his wife was having an affair with a Beverly policeman whom he shot in front of coffee shop, before later killing himself.
According to the report, Nagy confronted Lantych about the alleged affair and Lantych offered to meet him, telling him, "It's not what you think."
Now get this...Wait for it....Wait for it...............
Nagy's wife, Katherine, was the Beverly department's domestic violence victim advocate.
