U.S. Soldier Kills Afghan Civilians In Shooting Spree : The Two-Way : NPR
American officials say that a U.S. soldier in Afghanistan walked off a base in the pre-dawn hours Sunday morning and began shooting at civilians in their homes in the southern province of Kandahar.
Early reports are conflicting, but at least 15 civilians are reported dead and 4 others wounded. NATO hasn't confirmed the death toll, but has detained the accused service member.
Comment ........ I almost don't know what to say...Solder goes berserk. There are many reasons why. Yet why do I always think OMG how much is this going to cost us?
