"Former Westchester Republican State Senator Nick Spano is expected to plead guilty Friday to a federal tax charge, sources familiar with the case told NBC New York. Spano is accused of underreporting income from 2000 through 2008, a person familiar with the investigation said.
Spano is expected to admit to failing to pay $42,000 in federal income taxes and $10,000 in state taxes over the eight years in question. "
