"NEW YORK (AP) — Gasoline prices have never been higher this time of the year. At $3.53 a gallon, prices are already up 25 cents since Jan. 1. And experts say they could reach a record $4.25 a gallon by late April. "You're going to see a lot more staycations this year," says Michael Lynch, president of Strategic Energy & Economic Research. "When the price gets anywhere near $4, you really see people react."
Comment...........Here at the shoreline in Connecticut its $3.79 a gallon...Not a word from Washington as our economy swirls down the drain...Nothing from the oil company's as they rake in Billions in profits...Morons still going 80 and 90 miles per hour on the highways...I will NEVER, EVER trade in my car (Mustang) for one of those stupid looking gas savers that people have been manipulated and coerced into driving. I blame our government and our corrupt leaders for this happening. I believe they could have stopped this oil price insanity a long time ago by setting limits...I believe the oil company's paid them off with bribes and campaign contributions not to do anything.
